Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
We've only ever had coloured lights that softly change colour. They're relaxing to be around but I'd like to try the icicle lights some day. I'm honestly okay with anything as long as it doesn't flash erratically.
we usually use a bunch of decorations, but most of our lights are the multicolored ones. i can't choose a favorite though honestly, i love christmas lights and would string them around everything if i could. i also really like those snowflake ones that twinkle, they're so pretty
Outside we use icicle lights on the house but color lights on trees and such.
For indoors, our tree is prelit and will change between color and white.
Over the last four years we've gotten rid of the old incandescent bulbs and have switched to LEDs. It actually makes decorating outside a lot easier as you can string more than 5 together.
i love coloured and white lights (as long as they are a warm, yellow-white rather than a cold white!)
we have really cute ones from ikea that you can put decorations on, like little snowflakes and things. so cute!
I love white, blue and purple lights for decorating the outside of houses and outdoor trees. There are so many fun and cute string lights you can get for interior decorating these days too! I don't really like the traditional colorful lights, they are hard to match. The blinking is fine if it's not at a fast speed. Sometimes I see blinking lights and I worry about people prone to seizures! ; v ;
We don't hang outside lights. Inside, we put multicolor ones on the tree. We used to have all different colors but I think the lights we have now are just red and white and round. Very cute.
Colored, I don't think we've ever used single color lights, we always have the rainbow strands, I am going to try to convince my mom to buy a few new strands this year of the LED one's because we have glass classic ones and it's literally a pain every year untangling them and replacing bulbs that went out so that the rest of the strands work. _-_ I bought some green LED lights for Halloween and they were so bright and it said the max you could plug end to end was like.. 70 strands or something so they use a fraction of the electricity that the classic ones use, so it's totally time to make the switch, plus I have an odd attraction to the blindingly bright blue LED lights, like I can't even look at them cause they make a halo effect but I look and strain my eyes all the time...
we have rainbow lights on our christmas tree and I think they are the prettiest. I like most christmas lights though. I remember when I was a kid my neighbors used to hang up BLUE christmas lights and I thought it looked pretty cool c:
