I'm been studying french for ~4 years now. I'm also working on learning the 3000 most common chinese characters by this summer since im chinese and i dont want to be a dishonor to my family anymore. German, spanish, then japanese are after that! What about you guys?

I'd like to learn German just because I like the language. I've not actually started learning it, though.

I'd like to learn Japanese, but I have to learn Spanish soon this year.

Oh man. I totally need to learn chinese too. ;-;
//is chinese but can only read like 30 words.

plus it's such an amazing and useful language.

otherwise I find all languages very interesting, especially the ones that are totally different than the languages that I currently speak.

I'd like to learn Estonian, because one day I'd like to live in Estonia.
However.. I have heard that it's one of the hardest languages to learn. So.. If I have a hard time learning it, then probably Swedish or Norwegian.

I would like the learn, german, mandarin, japanese, spanish, korean and french! Even just to know the simple, common, and basic ways to communicate in the languages is all ready satisfying and handy

Spanish because the U.S. is being overrun by illegal immigrants and soon it will be the predominant language spoken here because it is spoken in a lot of places. I don't want to learn a language which is only spoken in one country.

I started learning German. I don't know that much, and I'm not good. I'd like to learn to speak it fluently.

I was learning Spanish for a while and I'd like to think my reading comprehension is still decent. I wanted to become fluent but it just didn't happen :( Maybe some day. I also started learning Japanese a while back but I didn't get too far with it. Hopefully I'll get to continue when I'm out of school.

I'm a Mexican and I need to start learning more Spanish. I only know how to speak certain sentences. I also want to learn Japanese because it sounds pretty, haha.

i also want to learn korean so I can understand these songs without looking up the lyrics in English hehe

I'm currently learning English and Japanese and would like to learn Korean and Chinese as well...but I have little hope....

My first language is german and I learned english & french in school. I'd like to learn polish because half of my family (which I don't know though) speaks it. Another language I'd be interested in is spanish, at my school it was an official class that was volunteerly (differently from dutch / japanese club it gave out grades too) and I kinda regret not taking it. It was only 3hrs a week for a year and it would have given me a basic understanding of another language for free.

I'm really impressed by people learning asian languages, especially those with thousands of characters. I had loads of difficulties with french, english became easy once I started watching popular shows and movies in their original language. I did pass french but I really can't have a long conversation using the language.

I'm taking a class for Spanish, and I've also learned bits (not very much though) of Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Korean.
Of those four, I know Japanese the most. I can read full hiragana and katakana, but sadly not kanji.

Oh my god yeah. Honestly I really love being chinese because it has such a rich culture.

I can understand Chinese conversation enough for me to know when my mom's talking sht about me to her chinese friends lol and i can speak a fair amount but reading and writing are just. not my forte

I really want to learn chinese. It's my native language and all I know how to speak is english. Dishonor on me and my cow

I've been learning Spanish for nearly four years and I enjoy it a lot! I'd really like to learn French or Italian sometime as well.

Basically all languages ever, so I can talk to and make friends with people from all different places. But I'd mostly like to learn Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Korean, Hindi and French.

That's cool! I also know hiragana and kana but unfortunately the core of the language is kanji. It would be hard for me to learn it since I would just mix their meanings up with their original chinese meanings lol. Japanese is definitely something for when I'm finally fluent in chinese ;)

same tho!!! (though I think "native language" means the first and main language you learned to speak, rather than the language of your ethnicity)

That's so cool! What made you decide that estonia was the place for you?
