That's cool! I also know hiragana and kana but unfortunately the core of the language is kanji. It would be hard for me to learn it since I would just mix their meanings up with their original chinese meanings lol. Japanese is definitely something for when I'm finally fluent in chinese

I FEEL hahaha. like if a genie came and granted me a whish it would be to be fluent in all the world languages.

same tho!!! (though I think "native language" means the first and main language you learned to speak, rather than the language of your ethnicity)

That's so cool! What made you decide that estonia was the place for you?
Yeah, I'm focusing on learning Traditional Chinese as that's what's spoken in Hong Kong and Taiwan, two places I'd like to visit, especially Taiwan.
I'm really leaning toward learning Japanese one day. I know how to say a few basic things from anime games and shows, but hey it's a start.
well. i'm currently learning spanish, and will b starting japanese this summer. next year i'm continuing with spanish but also picking up latin.
in the near future i plan on adding italian and french, because i totally forgot all of french since i never practiced and then i'd like to learn how to write better in arabic since i forgot how to do that too
i've been taking french in school for about 4 years now. next year will probably be my last year since i don't plan on taking it senior year or in college.
i am chinese, and i can speak and understand mandarin very well. however, i am horrible at reading or writing it, and i've been meaning to restart learning it from my mom for quite some time. (my mom used to force me to learn it as a kid, but i haven't done anything like it in years now)
