I'll name it Ehime, just like I have in every AC game I've ever had. What can I say? I really, really love my former prefecture, and as my AC town always ends up an amalgamation of the various Japanese cities/towns I've lived or worked in within Ehime, it would feel weirdly unfair to choose just one to name my AC town after. Plus, most of them wouldn't fit the character limit, anyways.
I'm not sure yet... I was thinking about using my acnl town name "Zenith" again but unless the data from new leaf can transfer to ac switch I don't see it happening anymore.
The only town name idea I've had is "Rainbow" but if I think of something better before the release I'll use that

I'm hoping they will allow us to have at least 10 character letters for our town names, because if they do, I have lots of ideas then. If they don't, I do have a name all planned out for the new game, but I've yet to reveal it. >.>
i always use merrily for my town name, it's like the only town name i've consistently liked for years and i think it suits a lot of different themes and sounds happy and cute. + my name is always mog and mog from merrily has a nice ring to it i think (also never met anyone else with that town name which is a bonus)
I always reference the Elder Scrolls with my town names, lol. I just can't seem to make do with the character limit . I'm trying not to think too hard about the game until it actually is announced for release or we see some gameplay. If I do then I'll get way too impatient, and that's not a good way to be regarding Nintendo! They love to make us hold our breath.
I think I'll name my town something foresty, usually my town names have been teas or something funny. I'm going towards something like Mossy or something to do with forests.

I am definitely keeping my current town name- Moonbell. I haven't been playing Animal Crossing for very long (July of this year) so, I am still in love with my town name. I can't wait!
I think I will stay with the name: "Floriade". I like crossbreeding hybrids. That will be no different in the new AC game. So Floriade will again be a good name for my new town.
I will either take a name I already used in New Leaf or will pick a new one. It depends how many
characters the town name can have in the new game. If it's over 8, then I will think about a new
name, if it's 8 again, then I will take one I already had in the past.
