What Will You Name Your Town?

I know most people think it's a boring, uncreative name, but I'm going to use Forest again. It's like a tradition for me, since I've been using it since the GameCube game. And it does have a personal meaning for me as well.

oh my gosh I haven't even thought about town names. I really hope they increase the character limit because that's been a struggle for the longest time. I'm probably going to go with something new. I usually find inspiration from irl street names that sound interesting like Athol, Avenue or Prospect. I've created several towns with these names but restarted because they were gross haha

My Switch town will be called Seasons; Not only because it sounds nice, but I'm huge about decorating my house to fit the current season or changing the town tune/flag to be more seasonal. It's also for Youtube purposes, as I plan to document my entire first year with the game in a (hopefully) daily video series for a year, which will be called 'A Year of Seasons'.

I want to name my town Barley after my dog but I already named my NL town that. That might be too confusing having two towns with the same name so I'm not really sure. It will probably be named after something to do with nature or gemstones.Maybe even something to do with video games like Pokemon or something. It's really hard to decide on a name. They really should increase the amount of letters so you can have more variety and freedom with your town name.

Zeist.
I named my town in Wild World like this and it feels like the only right name for my town. I once named a town in City Folk differently, but instantly disliked the name. Pocket Camp and the Switch annoucement also made me feel nostalgic for the DS times, so I will definitely name my town Zeist again.

I'm hoping for a character extension as I would like to use Waldblume (forest flower). Failing that then probably Gridania after the forest nation in FFXIV.

I liked the moon theme of my New Leaf town- Moonvale- so I'll likely continue by naming my town something like Moonbrook or Lunabrook or something like that.

I might make a new name, but I?ve always liked Avalon. It?s a mythical island from the story of King Arthur and means ?island of apples?. Really fitting for my town because my native fruit is the apple!

I'm gonna have to stick to Rosebud! I just love the name so much, and it's been the name of my last three towns. However, of course, if it CAN be city-like, I'll probably go with New Rosebud!

I've been considering more cute/fairytale themed names for my next town since that's the theme I go for overall. c: Just watch me name a town after dessert lol ~*~super original~*~ I know.

Ooh whimsicial. Some italian dessert like Gelato or a Farsi word like Nabat~
Myself, I've had a fixation on naming my town with a patchwork, cloth-like feeling. So my second ACNL town was called Denim, but was completely rescrapped a year or two later as New Denim (which is such a fun little play on words.) Since then, I think I've restarted as Denim III. It's been a while since I played. I can't decide if, for Switch, my town sounds better to outsiders as "New Denim," "Denim Town," or "Denim." Feel free to let me know!
