What winter-related areas are you adding to your island?

I need some ideas. I redid my island and now have a couple of large, open areas. I have a Santa's workshop, ice rink, and tree farm. I haven't time traveled, so I'm just now getting the snowboy and festive diys. I'm fine with saving some space for when I have all of those.

I just finished adding fall areas to mine lmao. At this point, I'm just crafting bear ice sculptures to make my island feel more like Skyrim.

I am terrible at decorating honestly. I only recently cleaned up all the junk I had to put around to get 5 stars plus the ridiculous amounts of flowers i had everywhere. I'm currently working on my house interior so I haven't started outside yet. Plus lack of diys lol. I originally thought of a tree farm but i wanted to use the diyd trees cause they are pretty and that is a lot of materials. also thought of an ice rink but i have no idea how to make one. or make it obvious that's what it is. At this point I'll settle for a few snowmen and trees if i can get the diys. would love to see pics of what you end up doing, really curious about the santa's workshop and how you make it.

My Santa's workshop is made with the gnomes at a table with toys in front of them. They're all "sitting" on stone stools. I also have other toys around the "room" (it's outside) a table for wrapping with wrapping paper and a wrapped gift. That's the basics. I got the idea from somewhere, but I can't remember where. I think they had it in a house.

i don't have the space to dedicate to season-specific areas, unfortunately, so right now i'm in the process of just switching out all my pumpkin stacks and mush logs with three-tiered snowpeople.

Oh those areas sound so cute! I don't really make specific areas in mine, I just add in decorations? Hopefully that makes sense. I did add a little outdoor illuminated tree with Christmas gifts surrounding it, though! I've also given all my villagers festive trees for the yards, added some to my little "cafe", and I've added an ice sculpture and some holly bushes to my little "nature walk" area in my town to make it feel a little more festive!

Evwirt is in the middle of summer, so I don’t think I can help you there. I’m planning on adding a flock of flamingos to the eastern beach as soon as I clean up the beaches!

i need to get some more DIYs - mainly some decorated tree ones - before i can do what i want to do. but i want to do a little 'christmas light show' area when i get enough of the seasonal recipes. i miss being able to walk around in park areas and admire the light setups, and they usually had a really nice eccentric tree in the middle of everything to finish it all off. so i'm hoping to make something like that just off my resident services area

I'm planning to just take all the illuminated stuff and make a little park full of lights that you can walk through. Not sure if I'm gonna use the frozen stuff for anything yet - I might incorporate it into the light park
