Do you use weeds to decorate your island?

Yeah, I have a forested area in the back of my island covered in weeds and bushes. I also have some gyroids scattered throughout the forest that was inspired from the kodamas from Princess Mononoke.

I have weeds in a few different spots. This might be one of the things that I look at changing up through this year. Having them make a bit more sense, so they're more prevalent at my campsite area which I'm thinking of moving to make it even more "removed" from the rest of things, as well as in a couple of other "wild" spots, including one of my ponds.

I do use weeds to decorate my island! I typically will plant them near trees to make a textured look. Another thing I like is the contrast of the green with the pale sand; I'll plant some on the beach for visual appeal. What's better than that: they do not spread when they're in sand! They look really nice there, as well as near the campsite :]

Yes! I love using weeds to decorate my island, even though they can be a bit annoying when they grow. I’m constantly rearranging them to keep everything looking just right. Fixing the weeds has become part of my daily routine!

I have a natural theme for my island, so I love using weeds. They often overgrow into areas I don't want them, but that's gardening and adds character (I do pluck some of them off main pathways, though).

I primarily use them on natural paths or to add more visual interest where I have a lot of flowers, bushes, and trees:

I generally don't! Although, I've been tempted to include a little more glowy moss around to help my island recently, I just love things that glow

the weeds are one of my fav decorating items in the game. i love the fall weeds! they look great with the wheatfield item for adding texture. fun to run through and they look nice blowing in the breeze. i'm more into the organic/overgrown island look so i'm happy they have multiple stages and can be replanted. i remember collecting clovers in past animal crossing games and this is so much easier lol.

my island is a huge WIP because i'm reworking the entire thing as a desert that'll be pretty sparse, but some of the fall weeds will look nice as a little pop of foliage.

I love weeds! And I love the variations they can take on in this game, and across the seasons.

I like using them for woodsy areas as well as run-down urban areas.

I love using weeds. I'm so glad they don't impact your town rating the way they did in New Leaf. They really help bring together areas that are supposed to look more wild and natural. I currently have them mixed in with some hybrids by my bee hives. I also have some mixed in around my home, as I wanted my yard to look akin to a meadow.

I really think New Horizons really did a nice job with the design & variety in weed visuals, they add so much decoration-wise!

i like using them to fill in little voids and to give my flower beds a bit more variety. it kinda bothers me how the weeds all grow unless they’re in sand, so i’ve been using glow moss more and more instead.
