I think I'm in the same boat as your girlfriend. I typically get B12 injections every three months but there have been several occasions where my levels dipped so low I needed them every other day. It was not fun.oh, that might explain it. the ad i just got was called, like, "no meat" or something, but it's definitely not the first one i've had recently. i have anemia and had to be prescribed extra strength B12 tablets (although they don't do them anymore, so i'm on regular store-bought ones atm) due to my low levels, and my girlfriend's levels are so bad she has to have a series of injections in the next few weeks. it's always pretty weird to me that people don't consider these things when pushing that everyone should be meat-free and anyone who isn't supports animal abuse etc. (although a lot of vegans thankfully aren't like that.)

Going meat-free isn't everyone. I was vegetarian in my teens and honestly I don't miss it. Going without meat for a few years actually gave me a new appreciation for it.
