That one thing you need. It doesn't have to be something big or expensive, but you don't feel complete leaving the house without it.

For me, it's my Burt's Bees lip balm. I have a bunch of them in different flavors/scents, tints, and the original plain keep-my-lips-from-getting-owwy.

My sister swears by eos and a friend will fight you for her Fresh Sugar. Another loves a brand that I can't name here.

So, what's your thing?

My phone because it's entertainment for me plus I love taking photos.
I also get scared a random emergency will happen so not having it out with me would scare me and make me panic.

I never leave without Vaseline lip therapy. My lips have had all kinds of allergic reactions, so I've gone through many lip products, but the vaseline is the one staple that has yet to betray me.

I also always have my phone on me, but I guess that's a given!

Besides phone (thou I have forgotten it a few times), wallet, mask, stuff that's very necessary, chapstick. I don't use it everyday but I still carry it.

Also if I'm not going to work, my tattoo chocker necklace. It feels weird being out and not wearing ANY jewelry. I put that one cause it matches all my outfits and its easy.

i have the cheeseburger backpack from steven universe and i take it literally everywhere with me, i also have a pikachu pillow in it so i can take a nap wherever i am lol

My friendship necklace. I know it's kind of tacky, but it was given to me by my best friend that I knew since I first moved in a little over 10 years ago (which is almost my whole life). It just means that someone will always be with me since we have the same necklace (and its from hot topic, so it doesn't all too look girly lol)

Definitely my phone because I need constant contact with people and sometimes I just wait for a text :/ (I bet that sounds a bit sad, don’t worry I have friends). Also my waterbottle because I get dehydrated really quickly, especially at school.

aside from the usual phone, wallet, keys, glasses, etc.

propolis throat spray is a godsend, especially when my throat feels a bit scratchy. I like it more than cough drops since I don't have to remember to take a few every hour, I can just spritz my throat a few times when I need to.

I still keep some strong cough drops for clearing up my nose if needed, but the spray I can't go without, especially during winter.

It used to be Bobby pins but now it’s hair tie. I always need one on my wrist, unless it’s already used on my hair. I recently lost the hair tie I’ve been using the last couple months and I’m now using a scrunchie. I like to see how long I can keep using the same hair tie until i lose it.

Chapstick, water to drink, a scrunchie to keep my hair up, and my Bible...........aaaaaand my 2 feline overlords cats because I'm a crazy old cat lady! 🙃

you just reminded my I'm upset because I accidentally dropped my Burt's Bees lip balm into the toilet (lol) last week and I had to throw it out and I still haven't replaced it 😭

so yeah, lip balm and my phone are the two things I can't leave the house without

I've been thinking about this and I don't really have anything other than the absolute necessities in my purse like wallet, phone, keys. But even then, I can leave all those things at home depending on where I'm going and with who. I guess the only thing that I have to have every time I leave the house is my glasses because I'm blind.

My card case because it has everything: ID, credit card, debit card, bus pass, and a bill in case of an emergency.

I also always keep a pen and notepad on me.

this is such a stereotypical thing to say but honestly, the only thing that i always have to have with me is my phone.
a few years ago, my father and i went for a walk and he was attacked. i didn’t have my phone with me and therefore could not call 911. while people did intervene and we both ultimately got away unscathed, i never want to be in a situation like that again and not have any means to call for help. while my phone is obviously a source of entertainment and comfort, too, the most important thing to me is contact; i need people to be able to reach me and i need to be able to reach them, too, no matter where i am.

For me, it's my phone. I feel safer going out if I have a means to call for help. Plus it's nice to be able to take pictures whenever I want! I also like having lip balm with me and eye drops and some emergency tissues!
