What's the last movie you've seen?

Last week I saw What Happened to Monday? on Netflix. I don't recommend it, the trailer lied to me. Plus, the fact that it has a weird, unnecessary sex scene even less.

went to see captain america: brave new world a few weeks ago. as a casual marvel movie watcher, i thought it was a decent watch. nothing special. it's not so horrible as critics made it out to be i guess. i looked it up afterwards and learned that it was in production hell with multiple rewrites and whatnots which explained the messy plot and some of the cgi/special effect being very low quality in certain scenes. i do hope marvel steps it up with the future avengers movie and thunderbolts* though.

The other night I went to go see “The Day the Earth Blew Up” in theaters with my mom, if you don’t know it’s a new Looney Toons movie starring Daffy and Porky. I thought it was really cute and funny, and it’s always nice to see 2D animation in theaters, it was really polished and well done! We went to go see it on a Friday evening, it was kind of funny because everyone else watching in the theater with us was also adults, maybe some older teens.

Thank you for the review! I have been debating whether or not to see it. I want to, but I am honestly a bit burned out with the MCU, even though I have been a big fan of the MCU from the beginning.

What they are doing is entertaining, but the magic died with Endgame, in my opinion.

i watched mickey 17. while i enjoyed it, i think it could've been shorter and some of the plot was messy. i'm going to try reading the book to see if it does a better job.

watched the day the earth blew up in theatres with my cousins and we all absolutely loved it. i love anything looney tunes and was excited for it!! plus we had to watch it quickly as they were removing it from theatres after only a few days. waiting in anticipation for coyote vs. acme as it's been saved. im so happy ketchup entertainment picked it up!!

last weekend I watched the Princess Mononoke 4k restoration in theaters! I hadn't seen it in years and never in a theater, it was so cool! it was nice to sit in a theater full of people and watch the actual movie after seeing those Studio Ghibli AI images everywhere. nothin like a Ghibli movie to make me love life despite its brutality

Tonight was this month's episode of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs on the Shudder streaming service and the theme was the history of slashers.

The first movie was Intruder, directed by Scott Spiegel and released in 1989. I hadn't heard of this movie before but I found it pretty enjoyable. There were some pretty good kills and effects and I really liked this one practical effect prop they had, it was awesome, haha.

The second movie was In A Violent Nature, a movie which released last year from director Chris Nash. I'm mixed on the movie but leaning more negative. I kind of like the concept with the camera following the slasher's point-of-view, I liked the emphasis on the woodsy visuals, and there were some nice kills. It's such a slog to sit through, though, particularly the beginning and end. Prior to tonight I'd been considering splitting up these Last Drive-In episodes and watching one of the movies the night the episode airs and then watch the second movie a week or so later so that the month-long wait between episodes wouldn't feel so long, but man, glad I didn't start that this week.

hehe yet another rewatch of barbie princess charm school (っ´ ˘ ` ς)

i love rewatching older barbie movies since they're just so easy to put on. charm school is iconic to me because blair is such a disaster at the beginning of the movie which is such a mood.

Watched Quo Vadis with my family yesterday and.... yeah I don't recommend. It was really bad, and I truly don't have the words to describe it

girlyouknowitstrue-millivanilli.jpg

I saw Girl You Know It's True,a biopic about fake pop stars Milli Vanilli. From what I know about Milli Vanilli's story this movie is pretty accurate. They did a great job casting the actors playing Rob and Fab because those two actors have the looks and enough dancing ability to be able to pull off their own Milli Vanilli.
