Mario Kart 8 came out on the Wii U on May 29, 2014 and a port of Mario Kart 8 called Mario Kart 8 Deluxe came out on the Nintendo Switch on April 28, 2017. What's your favorite track from the best selling Nintendo Switch game.

That's a really tough one. I've been staring at the list for awhile now, but no single track stands out way more than the others to me. If I had to choose just one, I'd probably say 3DS Neo Bowser City. I love the the slippery track adding difficulty to the level and the twists/turns are just right where I don't feel like I'm slamming into them all the time but definitely feel butt clenching tight at times when you're approaching an edge. The thunderstorm weather is also really cool.

My favorite would have to be Mount Wario, hands down. I never was much of a fan of the 3-section courses, but Mount Wario does it perfectly with each of the 3 sections having their own distinct feel. The music on that course is incredible as well and I love how it changes for each section (and subsection in the case of section 2). My favorite retro would have to be Wario's Gold Mine. It's an all-around fun track with a great layout and plenty of challenge, though the anti-gravity mechanic did make the mine cart section significantly easier than Mario Kart Wii's version, and the music for this one is amazing as well.

There is only one valid answer to this question. My favorite course, objectively the best course in not only the game but the entire series, is Baby Park.

Of the tracks in the poll I suppose I'd go with Thwomp Ruins. I just like the theme of it with the bit of water and ancient feel. The music is nice too. All the tracks are great though.

Of the courses mentioned, I will choose Cloudtop Cruise! It's a very interesting map with a stellar soundtrack, and it definitely deserves its spot in the Special Cup.

However, if we are including Wii U's DLC/Deluxe's extra tracks, I would have to say Wild Woods. That is probably the most gorgeous track Nintendo has ever created for Mario Kart. The lighting, the scenery, the little Shy Guy village, all of it! The music is amazing and I love the layout; it's super fun to play on 200cc.

I would say Sweet Sweet Canyon because I love its aesthetic so much! Its also Daisy themed! She is my favorite! I think its a really cool stage as well with all the sweets! Its my FAVEEE. I also love Mount Wario though.

I love the DLC tracks the best though and my favorite is always the Animal Crossing track!! After that it would be Wild Woods!

Overall though I love every single track in 8 and 8 is tied with Double Dash for my favorite MK game!!

Torn between Electrodome and Sunshine Airport. 🥴 And I know it's not on the list, but I also really like Coconut Mall! (Who doesn't?)

Mount Wario, possibly Sunshine Airport too, not too large of a fan of the 8/D tracks since they are either too easy to too much turns basically depending on how you play.

As a diehard Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fan, I can't choose between just one, so I'm gonna choose just one from all the cups in the game:

Mushroom Cup: Sweet Sweet Canyon

Flower Cup: Toad Harbor

Star Cup: Mount Wario

Special Cup: Bone Dry Dunes (I'm dead serious)

Shell Cup: Cheep Cheep Beach

Banana Cup: Royal Raceway

Leaf Cup: Music Park

Lightning Cup: All except for Rainbow Road, but since I can only choose one, then Grumble Volcano

Egg Cup: Yoshi Circuit

Triforce Cup: Hyrule Circuit

Crossing Cup: Cheese Land

Bell Cup: Ribbon Road (I'd choose Neo Bowser City here too, but I made it to where only one favorite is allowed per cup)

Golden Dash Cup: Coconut Mall (Why wouldn't I? Sure, it's a downgrade from the old versions, but I for one like the orange. Not to mention orange is my favorite color)

Lucky Cat Cup: Ninja Hideaway (Another person who likes this track? Name one person who doesn't...)

There are a bunch more cups coming our way, so it depends if this thread stays relevant when it does. And when it does I'll update this post.

It's a close tie between Electrodome and Mount Wario. Electrodome immediately took my eye back in MK8 Wii U days. I never liked Mount Wario for years, but it's grown on me so much and the music is an absolute banger.

Bonus video because it's so good

I chose Mount Wario because I love the beautiful mountain setting. I also like the challenging layout and the anti-gravity section was fun.
