Donkey Kong Country was a childhood of mine. Donkey Kong Country 2 is the most memorable for me though

I would definitely say that EarthBound is my fave SNES game! 🌎

Honestly I love almost everything about it; the music is weird & iconic, the character designs are immediately recognizable & memorable, the story is so out there but it also very relatable on a personal level that it really does stick with you, and the lore behind it alongside all of the urban legends raise it to legendary status imo <3

I was super young when we owned a SNES. I have really fond memories of the classic Harvest moon. Sitting with my mom and sister together and playing. We used to switch up after each day ✨

adding in duo racers was a great idea! they should bring this back again!
Freaking right!!!! I remember my mom and I playing as I think green and red koopa with the duo or sometimes she would be toad I believe. So so fun. We did a balloon match with a friend of mine and he played with his feet ha ha ha. It was so so funny.

Of the games listed in the poll my favorite is Earthbound. The battle system isn't the greatest and the item inventory size is tiny, but the soundtrack is iconic, it has a great translation, and the artstyle is so charming. There's a reason so many indie games released today use it as inspiration.

My favorite game on the system overall is panel del pon. It's a super addicting action puzzle game with some of the best pixel art on the system and a catchy soundtrack. It got localized in the U.S. as Tetris Attack, but I prefer the original. The only thing I don't like about it is that the game uses passwords instead of saves. I'm proud to say I own an imported copy of the game and a Super Famicom to play it on.

Of these I’d say Chrono Trigger for sure though I still haven’t fully completed the game yet.

I also love Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War and Fire Emblem Thracia 776. Though they were only officially released in Japan.

one of my favorite rpgs of all time! great characters, story, battles, music, artwork... just an all around fantastic game!

There were three SNES games that I had that I played the most. They were Kirby Superstar, Mario Paint, and Shaq Fu (which isn’t as bad of a gam3 as everyone likes to claim it is.)

Despite the fact Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games ever, I wouldn't say that it's my favorite SNES game. (DS version FTW)

I think the best SNES game is EarthBound. It's simply a timeless video game. There is so much to enjoy about it. From the music, characters, writing, and the combat. There aren't many games like EarthBound, and man do I want more people to experience the masterpiece it is.

Easily EarthBound for me. I first got to play it through the Wii U VC over 4 years ago and it easily became one of my favorite games ever. It's managed to age very well and it stands out for me due to its story, dialogue, and music. Runners up for me would be Super Metroid and Chrono Trigger (though I only ever played the DS version, lol).

Of these games, Super Mario World. I have many fond memories of playing it and watching with family. Harvest Moon SNES also has a soft space in my heart, even though I never got to own a copy myself.

But my favorite SNES game of all time is Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War. It's got the best story (IMO) for Fire Emblem and I love the large maps and cast of characters.
