This is going to sound confusing but here it is:
On my main island my villagers call me Roxas
On my 2nd island my villagers call me Sora.

If anyone is confused on those names they are names from the Kingdom Hearts series where Sora is the main character and Roxas is like his Nobody which means that they are connected in their hearts.

Well no its basically the same. I know that when a villager tells you what the nickname they wanted and you say no, you have the option to give them a custom nickname. Thats how I did it.

Raymond calls me Rutabaga, Reneigh calls me Shmoopy, and Colton calls me Canape. Other fav nickname was Kabuki calling me Skippy. On one island, they all called me Subscriber which I didn't like (thanks, Piper!).

chair, lemons, bean, child, bestie, and a plethora of not-nice words that I can’t use here lol. I like choosing strange nicknames for myself (as well as giving the villagers unique/weird catchphrases) because it makes them more interesting to talk to!

My current trending nickname is "big boi". It's a custom nickname I gave Buzz which Marty copied, then further spread to other villagers like wildfire.

cupcake, bestie, june bug i think those are the ones my villagers use currently! i like to let them call me what they want if it's funny or cute, but that one time Marshal wanted to call me canape and i have no idea what that is so i didn't let him x.x
