Whats your nickname?

Mine call me Pumpkin, Glitter, or Cupcake. I guess they like snacks and crafts, haha!

How do you guys change the name they give you? Every time they ask to call me something and I clicked “No” they don’t give me an option to change it. I have high friendships with all of them.

I want to be called dumpling and cupcake. But so far, I have canapé and chef.

Mine called me wonder bud in the beginning which I loved, but when one villager asked me for a custom nickname I gave him one and now all of my villagers call my character by her nickname instead of wonder bud. I don't like it as much anymore so i recently accepted ruby's request to call my character sweetkins so I'm waiting for that to spread and replace the custom one. Friendo is really cute too and I hope one of them tries calling me that soon

My villagers are calling me burrito. I do like Taco Bell, so I guess it makes sense. It also gives me a crazing for tacos whenever I play the game!

I'm called 'Bestie' by half of the island right now.
Sally just today wanted to call me 'K-beans' now, after she was the original one to call me 'Bestie'.

and I think Claude is still calling me 'Maestro' for some reason and I really wish he would stop calling me that!

I think my favorite nickname is one I picked myself. And, I’m slightly embarrassed to say, it was “gorgeous“. It started off with me having Gwen (a snooty) say that to me and then it kind of made me feel good and happy and caught on with several of my villagers. LOL

My current trending nickname is "big boi". It's a custom nickname I gave Buzz which Marty copied, then further spread to other villagers like wildfire.

I don't like my villagers to give me nicknames. I just decline their offer every time when they asked!

Do you need a really high friendship for them to give you a nickname? And does friendship affect how the nickname spreads?
