When does Christmas time start for you?

First day of December is when the Christmas tree goes up usually, then around that time.
 
December? Definitely not now when it's christmas already in the stores and such o_O
 
I guess it starts whenever the decoration are starting to appear in the streets. They usually start to be installed late November.
But in my house we actually prepare the Christmas tree on the 1st of December! Or one day before, so that it can be ready for that day. and We usually have each our own Advent Calendar!
I'm excited, because it's one of my favorite times of the year! I love Christmas spirit, and the decorations are so pretty. I also hope it'll snow this year! I love snow.
 
Our city have had Christmas lights up since last weekend and a lot of the community are up in arms about it, and quite frankly I think people need to get a grip. Theres obviously a lot of planning involved with decorations, which takes weeks, not to mention they probs need to be tested as well. Every year they have the Christmas market set up as well, i believe they start setting all that up mid November.

It's not 'officially' Christmas for me until my birthday has passed at the end of November. Mind you, i'm already feeling festive with watching Christmas films and i'm excited to go home for the holidays. My mother is also getting a new oven fitted today, which gets me extra excited for baking when I get back.

The only celebrating i do at Halloween is when all the chocolate is reduced in shops on the 1st November! :p
 
Like others have said, I usually start blasting Christmas music and shopping for presents the day after Thanksgiving. We actually usually put up our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, since my family tends to get very hyped for Christmas.
 
december 5th! i can't get excited about christmas until my birthday is over! i won't start feeling christmassy though until about the week before because of work though (i don't come from the most festive of families so i'm not rly hardcore)
 
As soon as I get home from Thanksgiving dinner, it's Christmas time. Every holiday deserves it's time to shine. It's aight to sell decorations before holidays; they're usually cheaper then and it's good for people who want to be ready for the holiday. But if you put up Christmas lights in November, you got some problems. Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, you've got a whole month before the holiday pops up. That's like buying a birthday cake the month before your birthday.
 
I put up the tree in November because I like using the Christmas tree lights as a soft light when I want to sit in the living room at night lol it?s really comforting and pretty to look at. I get to enjoy the tree longer, instead of 25 days.
 
The day after Halloween. For us in Canada, out Thanksgiving is in October, before Halloween so that's out of the way.

I've already started my Christmas shopping!! First gift purchased in September LOL. Can you tell what my favourite holiday is? ;)

Our Christmas tree is intense to set up. We spend easily 2 hours putting on our lights so I wanna make that worth it for as long as possible!
 
My Christmas tree has a spooky theme so it's okay to put it up on Halloween, right?

Same! I love Christmas lights and the happy feelings that come along with them. It also takes so long to decorate and get everything right, it's nice to be able to have it up for longer!

Ooh that is awesome! I'll admit I have already brought out the Christmas decorations so I'll be ready to put them out as soon as November 1st arrives!
 
Whenever we put up our decorations, so normally sometime in the first week of December!
 
December 1st. I love to have the decorations up as long as possible, but I just can't bring myself to put them up any sooner than that. I do most of my Christmas shopping before December though if I can, because it's way less stressful that way.
 
RIGHT after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas but I don't wanna get ratted out for saying 'it's always Christmas where I live!' LOL. I love Christmas so much. I still have my Christmas decorations up in my room from LAST year. :"D​
