"In the bank."
"In your wallet."

Yeah dumb question but I currently don't have a bank account (my hours vary too often for me to keep up with one). I usually use a storage box as my 'bank' but I want it to go back in the closet so I can organize my room a bit. Not only does it make it harder to get to in my closet, but I also want to put boxes on top of it for storage.

So where do you keep your money that you don't carry on your person?

I've a box on my desk labelled "Tattoo Fund". Anytime I've a lot of cash on hand or I'm trying to keep money by for something expensive (not necessarily tattoos) it goes in there. Most of its in the bank though.

I have an online bank (cause I had a lot of problems with a physical one lol) that my checks get deposited into, so i always keep part of my money in there, then I keep anything I'm saving in my ocarina case lol

An Ocarina case, lol nice.

Yeah I was thinking to get a nice decrotive box that fits envelopes to put my money in (I have 3 separate envelops for my savings, wants and needs).

I'm not old enough to have a bank account so I keep all my money in my secret mug... shhhh...

I keep my money in the bank, although I do have a cookie jar I put spare change in sometimes.

That being said, I sometimes think I should keep more of my money physically out of the bank, I have a bad habit of spending money I really shouldn't on fun things online.

I have a tad bit of emergency spending money in my wallet and the rest is in the bank.

Same. My paychecks get direct deposited to my bank account and I do 99% of my transactions through online banking and my debit card. But if someone gives me a small amount of cash, I keep it in my wallet just in case...and because it's too much of a hassle to go to the bank just to deposit $5.

Floatin around in the bank. I don't like using my debit card for everything but I do it anyway lol I prefer having cash on hand (mostly because I live in constant paranoia of my transactions not going through for any unimaginable reason) but I rarely do. I used to have a small cash pile of savings just sitting in my bedroom but the temptation to 'borrow' from it constantly was too strong for it to live a long life. :v

Oof, yeah I'd do that too, just think of all the stuffed animals and pretty aliexpress jewelry I could buy, if I didn't have to go out to my grocery store and find a card.

I would keep my money out of the bank also because I don't like the idea of not physically having in my hands. Like, what if the banks online stuff just gets 'shut down' one day? When it's in the bank, it feels like numbers in a computer. Althou to make major purchases like a car or a house, I would need a bank account.

Ah I thought I would be one of the few who prefer hard tangible cash. When I know I'm going out somewhere to shop, I organize my wallet and tell myself I can only spend what I have in my wallet. Let's say I put 50$ in there, but I have 200$ at home, I can't spend more than the 50 I brought with me. There is no 'hey I want this I can pay you back later'. I thought that once I got a job that I'd be spending like crazy, but I actually find that I have quite a bit saved up, both for needs and wants.

The bank on a card, I do a lot of online shopping. I also have a firebox with some loose bills and change too for whenever a situation where it is needed presents itself.

Bank mostly. Not that I have a lot of it, but carrying too much cash when I'm out and about makes me feel nervous.

I keep some money that's supposed to go towards my tuition in my closet guarded by a stuffed animal, and the rest is in the bank.

Bank or if I have cash my wallet.

At festivals I usually empty everything out of my wallet (drivers licence, credit card, etc) and squeeze that plus like 90% of my money in a crate of water (between the bottles, not IN the water) because, well, it's a festival. If somebody is going to sneak into my tent to steal stuff, they're probably not going to care about the cheap water when they can take the alcohol.

Lol cute, guarded by a stuffed animal.

Snowesque What's a fire box?

Tao That reminds me of a thing I saw on Brain Games, where Apollo kept money, keys and cards in a cup you get from like a soda fountain. If you get robbed, chances are people will leave you with your trash (as he says).
