where do you live?

Hi ASEAN neighbour! You're the closest one to where I live.

I was born and raised in Malaysia but migrated back to my mother's hometown in Chiang Mai, Thailand :)

It does get cold (probably not for cold-weathered countries' folks) during the winter months (sometimes only December or January) and the rest of the year is like the tropics (rain and sun). Never seen snow and snowflakes in my life 😔
Wait you know Chiang Mai!?!? My fellow asian, I went to Chiang Mai University (มหาวิทยาลัย เชียงใหม่) if you speak thai!
But I went to primary and a half of secondary in Korea, the last half (Trung học phổ thông) in Vietnam! Sorry I got so excited when I saw someone else who's been to Chiang Mai

The worst state of all, Arizona. wish i can wear jackets and pants without getting heat stroke every day C,:

So much better in northern California not going to lie, aside from how humid it gets there.

I reside in Chiang Mai, my parents and my mom's extended family lives here. Small world indeed. Did you enjoy your time at CMU? I've never studied there but I've been to the campus multiple times :)

Toronto, Canada. Happy, blessed, etc. Could be MUCH worse.

I live in Stockholm in Sweden. I like it but there are obviously still downsides. Most notably at the moment is the dark, the sun decides to leave the party at 4 pm :') love that.

CMU was an Amazing experience and I've taken the famous train ride from Chaing Mai to Bangkok and... it was weird lol! Haven't seen anyone else on this sight from/have relatives from Thailand!

I hope your family is enjoying residing in Chiang Mai. It's not just you, most families in Asia have massive families and family connections are valued and emphasized in Asian culture  It's true, I haven't been on this forum for long but I have yet to meet another fellow countryman/ countrywoman
