where do you live?

I hope your family is enjoying residing in Chiang Mai. It's not just you, most families in Asia have massive families and family connections are valued and emphasized in Asian culture  It's true, I haven't been on this forum for long but I have yet to meet another fellow countryman/ countrywoman

I miss Chiang Mai. I've been there twice and was supposed to go a third time and bring my partner along, but alas COVID cancelled all of my trips I had planned for this year. I miss my family, haven't seen them in over a year :(

I live in Stockholm in Sweden. I like it but there are obviously still downsides. Most notably at the moment is the dark, the sun decides to leave the party at 4 pm :') love that.
Oh yeah gotta love dark afternoons/evenings lol. Also didn't kno you were in the capital too, cool o:

Currently living in Indonesia, kinda feel left out since everyone in here have very different time zones than me and i have trouble keeping up with events in here.

I live in the United States of America in the whopping state of Pennsylvania.
We're just south of New York, sitting right on top of Washington D.C. and we're loaded with highways, countryside and the Amish!

I live in Colorado in the USA, I'm pretty close to the mountains, I can see them from my window, but kind of like in a neighborhood in the plains a bit in the middle of nowhere. It's not too rural, there are stores and restaurants a few miles away but it does feel like it sometimes.

New Jersey, in the US of A. Probably still a meme'd state because of Jersey Shore, but it's not too bad and I don't live on the shore. I'm just scared to drive here because it's incredibly more populated than Indiana (where my driver's license is from). Also, we live really close to NY, and that's fun. Also my neighbours are idiots and continue to party. IN A PANDEMIC.

Also, people here will glare at you if you say it like "joisey", so don't even try.

lmao i live in Tennessee of the united states.
very proud to call this place my home uwu beautiful nature, easy to get jobs, somewhat decent drivers (jk, the drivers here suck. i swear that they never keep their eyes on the road even though they passed a law in Tennessee against using your phone while driving. dumb plebeians) and overall just a nice state if you ask me

Hi TN person! I grew up in TN, although I was born in MN, and have lived in MO since 2001. I lived in middle TN: Murfreesboro (1989-1996) before it got big, Gallatin for a time in 1996, then eastward to Greeneville (1996-1998) and Bulls Gap (1998-2001) before moving to MO.

i live in a tiny village in austria with a population under 300. i lived in usa until i was ten though, so it was a pretty big culture shock for me when i came here.

my dad had to move here due to work. at first i was honestly underwhelmed but i kind of like the feeling of security and safeness in this country now ! only con is that it's not very international, austria usually gets skipped over when it comes to concerts and brands

I live in Tennessee too! :O Also I live in the Eastern part on TN in the outskirts of a a college city. Driving on the highway here (I-40) can be a nightmare sometimes due to how some people here will move over without signaling or how many trucks there are. Sometimes people here will drive super close to you even if you are driving 10 miles above the speed limit because people here don't ever regard the speed limit lol.

Anyways, the city I live in isn't too bad and not much ever happens due to how quiet it can be here sometimes. The best part is the nature surrounding it because it is located in a mountainous valley and the seasons really do feel as if they change.

I live near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but I've lived in multiple cities in Pennsylvania, as well as North Carolina for a year or so.
I'm really hoping I can move out west at some point soon. Either Washington State, Colorado, or California!

Oregon, US
Itching to hit the road again though and move. I like it here, but the people are so xenophobic. It makes it tough to be a transplant.
