I’ve realized that I only buy clothing online. That goes for everything: shirts, pants, shoes, socks, etc.

The only exception is when I purchase my work pants. They are black Dockers. I feel more comfortable buying those in person. I only wear the Dockers brand here for comfort and durability.

Do you mostly shop for your clothes online or in person? If you do shop online, what sites do you typically use?

Edit: I meant to end the poll question with a question mark. 😅 Not sure how I messed that up, lol.

I buy my clothing in person, usually somewhere cheap like Old Navy. The clothes there are relatively comfortable and it gives me a chance to try them out before buying. I can’t imagine shopping for clothes online since there’s always a risk of it not fitting properly.

I prefer doing so in person because I like to feel the item but as of late, the stores around me just don't have stock so I'm forced to order stuff online.

A little of this, a little of that.

I hate going in person but some things just need to be tried on. I won't ever order shoes online ever again because I know if they don't fit I will be too lazy to return/exchange them lol

I like ordering dresses online though

In person. I'm broke so it's usually secondhand too. Or out of season discounts.

Online. I used to enjoy going clothes shopping, but after the pandemic I found shopping online easier and more enjoyable. I went clothes shopping last summer with a friend and just couldn't stand being around so many people in shops. Overall it was exhausting and just less enjoyable all round, it's one of the many things I don't miss from my pre-pandemic life.

I usually buy my clothes online. I don’t like shopping in person because most stores sell only modern clothing in their branches. My favorite sites would be EMP, ABOUT YOU, (asos) and Zalando.

Depends, but a lot of second hand/vintage/small business stores on or offline. (Unless it's like, panties and socks those I obviously buy new wherever they got quality LMAO)

The Hippie Shake, The Chain Designs are two I really like. Also Hippie Shop or Love on Haight if you like tiedye/hippie things.

I buy all my pants in store so I can have a look at them and make sure they aren't crappy material, as well as I find my size is different in different stores. I've ended up buying everything between 30"-36" waist from various different stores and they all fit me exactly the same. I could get a refund online, but it's a lot more effort having to return the pants when I could just try them on in store and get it right the first time.

Everything else? Online.

I like t-shirts with bands, video games and movies on them. There isn't really a wide selection in the high street stores and they end up being largely the same couple of 'franchise' in every store. I do get the issue of sizes not being exact again as I can be L or XL depending on where I shop, but it's less of an issue with shirts.

Jackets again, I just don't like what I find in high street stores. XL seems to fit fine regardless of where I go. Shoes are mostly consistent too, though I have had to exchange a pair before.

I don't like buying clothes when I can't try them on and feel the material. Sometimes I buy skirts online, but that's it. I don't shop for clothes that often now that I think of it!

I can also relate to the shopping in person thing, if I need jeans I definitely go try those on cause sizes are different everywhere. I mostly know my measurements but yeah especially on vintage stuff they can be way different.

It's a mix of both depending entirely on what it is! I love being able to try things in in store if it's a generic measurement like S, M, L cause brands vary so much. If a brand uses exact measurements on their website, I'm more inclined to buy online for convenience and it's easier to support small business online.

I love thrifting also and I find it's much much much easier to thrift in person rather than buying vintage off of like, Etsy or eBay. Though I do buy off Etsy a lot it's usually never pre worn items.

The most for clothes that I've bought recently have all been Lolita things off of taobao or lacemarket but for normal clothing, I've been going to Old Navy, Marshalls or Plato's Closet.

Its both for me but I should buy more stuff in person because my body is a weird shape and most things I buy online don’t fit. Then my mom gets mad because she has to return them. Just yesterday I got 3 dresses that I had ordered from old navy, and only one fit.

I always shop for clothes in person, save for the occasional graphic shirt I find online that I need to have. I also always buy my clothes at secondhand/thrift stores. I've found a lot of nice stuff secondhand, it's much cheaper than buying brand new clothes, and it's kinda like recycling for clothes which I always appreciate.

the only clothes I will buy online are t-shirts and hoodies, so if the size is a bit off it's not a big deal. everything else, I like to look at it in-person or even try it on before I buy it, especially because I'm very particular about how my clothes fit.

It depends for me. If I see something I really like online, I'll buy it. If a band I love has hoodies or t-shirts for sale, I'll buy them online. Though, most of my clothes come from Walmart. Almost everything I get from there is cheap and comfy, so why not?

I Usually buy all my clothes at a second hand store becuse I try to save money on things

I normally go shopping for clothes in person so I can try on the clothes and see if they fit me. I get clothes anywhere except Walmart because I prefer wearing clothes that have good quality and last long.

Most of my clothing is purchased online. I have a rather short attention span when it comes to shopping for clothes, and I get bored very quickly when I'm made to enter clothing shops which makes up half the high street where I am.

The only clothing shop I don't mind visiting (as in, once a year) is Uniqlo.

To be honest, I rarely shop for my own clothes. Most of the clothing I own was gifted to me by family or hand-me-downs from my mom and my aunt since we're all about the same size. I do have to buy my own pants, though, because I have a hard time finding pants that fit me correctly. If I'm forced to buy a new brand, then I have to go into the store and try them on because the same sizes don't fit the same. But I've been buying the same American Eagle jeans for years now and know my size so I can order them online.

I order most of my shoes online when I need shoes, which is rare. I only have a few pairs and I will wear them until they are literally falling apart. My go-to for shoes is always a pair of Timberland boots. I buy my own winter coats too because I'm picky about the way they fit. I like to wear loose clothing so I like a loose bulky coat to go over them, but whenever other people gift me coats they're always too snug and uncomfortable. The last two winter coats I bought were from the NFL Shop online.

Other than that, I wear a lot of graphic tees that other people buy for me from places like Wal-Mart, Hot Topic, teeturtle.com and such.
