Which bothers you most?

I have such bad joy-con drift, the game's almost unplayable so terraforming's a huge bother. Every other move is me knocking down or filling water that I've just put down ; o ;

Trying to pick something up or talk to someone, but accidentally picking a flower/shaking a tree/grabbing the wrong item. I know it's a temporary thing, but it can really be annoying.

Picking flowers really bums be out! I know they grow back but every time I pick one by mistake it makes me a little sad.

I always feel so bad when I hit villagers by mistake! I’ll be trying to talk to them but if I’m holding my net I swear I always hit them! I’m also pretty bad at fishing. Get too excited and try to reel them in too fast. This is mainly annoying when CJ needs me to catch multiple fish in a row before he’ll buy my fish

i do feel really awful when i accidentally hit villagers with nets, but they seem to forgive me <3

I'm surprised that slingshot is the top answer. I always carry a spare so that it doesn't happen. I assumed most people did this since we have such a large inventory now

the way the wind is blowing now sometimes makes me think there's a balloon hanging around, and there isn't

it was honestly a toss up for me between: seeing a balloon without a slingshot and hitting a villager in the head with a net instead of talking to them.

i can't stand it when i accidentally whack someone in the head when i'm trying to interact with them; so much so that i honestly have no idea why i even bother trying to talk to villagers with a net out, because it happens constantly. i hate how it sounds when you bonk them in the head, i hate their reaction, and most of all, i hate the thought of decreasing my friendship points over a silly muck up like that.

but it also grinds my gears when i've broken my slingshot and i was too lazy to rush to go make / purchase another one, and another 5ish minutes goes by to spawn another balloon. and then i'm stuck there, because i know that i wont have the materials to even make a slingshot (i don't carry hardwood around for no reason, you know), but if i go inside to get another one, it's just gonna disappear anyway.

it's annoying to scare fish and bugs away, especially when you're really trying to get them, but i find those two stated reasons above are much higher on my list of annoyance.

I'm gonna have to go with either accidentally picking a flower when trying to pick up furniture/a weed/branches...

...or hitting the side of a building with my net when I'm trying to go inside.

Accidentally selecting the wrong item to give to a villager...fixable by resetting surely but still peeves me greatly considering how ridiculous some of the dialogue in this game is...and how certain things make you go through 5 prompts to do but sure just take that horrendous outfit I meant to pitch that was right next to the rare fruit stack you were meant to have...

Also accidentally erasing a pattern on the ground.

Scaring a rat bug especially the rare beetles annoys the hell out of me. As soon has I realise what I’ve done i get frustrated bc those bugs are really hard to find/spawn. Scaring fish of also annoys me too especially if it’s a shark

the one that probably drives me crazy the most is accidentally erasing a custom design when I'm actually trying to pick up an item (literally I'm standing Right in front of the item and facing it?? why would you think I want to kick stuff off the ground???) but also I cannot count the amount of times I've accidentally picked a flower when I've been trying to move an item >__>

The background music. I just want to hear the ambience and sound effects without the music. Turning the music off or quieter would be my current #1 dream wish

It's definitely scaring off a fish for me. I still haven't completed the cast master achievement yet. The highest I've gotten is in the 60's I believe.

All of the above. Scaring off a rare bug bothers me most, with scaring off fish before they bite comes in second.

For me it’s having a perfect fishing streak of 99 when it needs to be 100 for the miles reward

accidentally picking a flower when attempting to pick up something else is definitely the most common, irksome occurrence for me. especially if it happens when you're currently terraforming or otherwise decorating.

not only do you mess up the flower, you gain an unnecessary item in your inventory taking up precious inventory space that you will now have to go out of your way to get rid of it. accidental flower grabbing is the reason i have multiple trash cans around my island now.
