I know I will never achieve the 100 fish in a row achievement because I, very often, take the hook out while the fish is trying to bite it 😭 I don't even know why I do it. My thumb press the button without my brain ordering it 😂
I'm too nervous to be able to do 100 perfect catches in a row 🤪

I just started terraforming today and I was trying to make everything even on this pond and I kept messing up
And when I thought I was finished one side looked different than the other one like bro wtf

For me, I am most bothered by messing up the thing I just terraformed. Not even because of the messing up itself either. I think my brain associates it with the many times during exams when I write an answer, consciously recognize that I've made an error, erase the incorrect thing, then proceed to write the exact same (incorrect) thing. Whenever this happens to me, I feel a shot of cortisol run through my body. 🤣

Runner-up would be accidentally hitting a villager over the head with a net instead of talking with them, simply because I feel bad.

For things like accidentally scaring off a fish before it's ready to reel in or a rare bug off a tree trunk, it's fully on me if I mess it up, since I frequently have another video/podcast running in the background. xD

i'd say its the rare bug one- whilst the others do drive me up the wall, the rare bug could take forever to get back and i can't be dealing with that.

Something else: wishing on shooting stars during a nice burst and seeing a balloon drifting above me. Choices, choices..!

I always carry extra tools, and scaring off a bug/fish doesn't happen often enough for it to bother me. However, messing up something I've terraformed...that's a constant battle. I always find myself hitting the wrong tile, and sometimes I mess the same thing up twice or even three times. 😅 After spending 4-6 hours on a project, any extra input starts to bite at my patience a bit.

I scare bugs all the time! It's not my biggest pet peeve though. I'm in no hurry to finish my museum. The thing that bothers me most is definitely seeing a balloon whilst not having a slingshot - usually because mine just broke and I didn't get to the store to buy (or a bench to craft) a new one yet. In November especially this was frustrating because I kept thinking "That could have been a mush recipe!"

For my case, it always drives me crazy when I accidentally pluck my flowers. :ROFLMAO:

Somehow, I only ever accidentally hit my villagers with the net when they have a thought bubble, which makes it way more frustrating than it might be otherwise. Everything else I can deal with pretty well, unless the rare bug I scare off is one I've been looking for forever.

either having a fish slip off the hook or scaring a rare bug off. the fish one is probably worse since you can't even see what you missed.

in NL I would have to say though the most frustrating thing of all was when you are diving and having a shadow go under the net/out of reach. I hated that so much and it would make me so upset to the point where I didn't dive anymore lol

I have to vote for scaring away rare bugs, because.... ahhhh I have yet to catch a tarantula even after two encounters. The first time, I got stung (of course), but the second time it run away from me because I didn’t have a net in my hand, instead of attacking me it just got scared and keep running away and eventually fell in a pond.... ughhh not to mention the slightest movement scaring away the more precious beetles that I rarely come across.. very frustrating indeed

I always feel the balloon I missed will have the most vital item I ever needed!!!!!

Accidentally erasing a path when I'm trying to pick up something. I grumble when I have to pull out the phone to display it again every time lol. I hope Nintendo considers fixing that somehow.

Scaring off a fish. Fishing is my favorite mechanic in the series, so scaring a fish that I want to catch is super annoying. I do agree that any other common accident is frustrating, but they don't bother me as much as this.

I swear, the wind sound that the balloon gifts make in the air instantly triggers me now. Especially after this last month of frantically looking for all the mushroom and maple leaf recipes.
