I’m just now restarting my Island, and I’m excited to finally experience the game in fall and winter!

On that note I was wondering:

Which Fruit do you think looks nicest in the snow?

You can vote for 2

Other questions in relation:

1. Is it the fruit you like best in general, or a different one?

2. Do you prefer a different fruit for the other seasons? Which, and when?

I’m biased to Peaches because I just love the way they’re rendered in NH. The coloring they used for it in this game is just really pretty IMO especially at night they kinda look like they’re lighted up and they sort of have that glow to them. Also, they’re never the same color of the tree leaves no matter which season so I think the contrast is always there no matter which season it is. Also the peach furniture is my most favorite of all the sets so I had to make sure it’s my native fruit to secure all the furniture at once. In NL tho, I liked the apples because of the perfect apples and how they were super sparkly.

I forgot to add the other factors for the fruits aside from the way they look on trees! Cherries have cute drinks in mason jars because they’re pink and they’re perfect if you want a more softer pastel palette for your island. Oranges have that cute little orange slice on top of the mason jars and they’re super cute as well especially for a more tropical island.

i like oranges best, but i think all of them will look good. peaches and pears will be nice and pastel, and apples and cherries will provide a nice contrast.

I think apples look best in contrast with the snow.
For the other seasons

Spring: Cherries
Summer: Literally any of them
Fall: also Apples

I think cherry trees look best in winter. The contrast is a little more subtle than with apples (which also look nice). They also match well with the holly bushes.

None of them, they shouldn't grow in winter. Doesn't seem realistic.

I tend to like apples best in general but for winter I do think the pears or peaches would look nice.
So I voted peaches.

the fruit that looks best in winter is apple for me. they are red color and in a cold white winter, they are very pretty. 🍎

honestly, i've never really paid attention to how they look throughout the seasons, but i would say they all have their own charm. cherries and apples make for a good contrast. oranges are a good medium tone -- some color, but not overly vibrant. peaches are more subdued and fit the white color scheme better, and pears match what you can see of the leaves.

Personally, I would say apples and cherries. Not because their are my favorites but also since their red color stands out much better than the others imo. They look actually pretty in every season.

I guess they still grow since they are a main feature in the game. Like you can make bells by selling them, giving them to your villagers etc. Sure, there are other options you could use in that time but I guess they didn't want to get rid off them in that season to not upset people who would like to have them. I mean you're right it's not realistic, then again Animal Crossing is in general far away from being realistic, I guess nobody at the development team really thought about the logic here.

I think apples look best year-round, tbh. I have peaches and I’m really not a fan of how they look. Pear trees lack the type of contrast I’m looking for, it’s too much green.

I picked pears and cherries. I like how the colors contrast with the snow. Apples look good too, though I think they fit fall best.
Peaches are too summery and oranges too tropical.

My native fruit is peaches and is also my favorite fruit. I restarted my island at release because I wanted peaches, but now I don't think I would care at all. It's just a symbol on the passport.

cherries. gotta love that contrast. and i love cherry flavored foods. only tried fresh cherries for the first time this summer, and it made me love them even more. the apples look really good in winter too though.

i’ve always thought that apples look the best in winter — the contrast of the vibrant apples against the pale, snowy trees just looks so lovely to me! i also think that pears look quite nice as well.

neither pears or apples are my favourite fruit, but apples are my 2nd favourite! peaches are my first favourite, but unlike the apples that look great in every season (at least imo), i think peaches look their best in spring and summer. they don’t look bad in winter at all, but i like things for things to have a pop of colour to contrast all the snow in winter and they... don’t really have that, so they look better when there’s already vibrancy around them, if that makes sense. 😅

as for the other fruits, i prefer cherries in autumn, peaches and oranges in summer and spring, and pears in autumn and winter!

I think cherries have a beautiful contrast to the snow in winter. They are not as vibrant as apples, but the cherry shape is more interesting.

In general cherries and oranges are my favourite fruit in the game. For the summer months I really love the oranges. Apples are okay too, but I don't really like the peaches at all, no matter the season.
