1. When you clasp your hands, which thumb is on top? Right thumb but I don't mind the opposite. Right is more natural tho.
2. When you cross your arms, which arm is on top? Left arm on top. Right on top feels so wrong and uncomfortable.
3. When you cross your legs, which leg is on top? I really don't like to cross my legs because my knees start to hurt but when I do, right on top is more comfortable. I do cross my ankles though and for that, right on top!
I had to think about the crossed arms one a bit, because at first it wasn’t clear to me which one was ‘on top’ because it kind of weaves in and out somewhat, and I wasn’t sure if I was looking more at the arm itself or the hand… anyway, I am pretty positive it’s the left arm!
The leg one is probably the most ?ambidextrous of the bunch, I could cross them either way and feel comfortable
I was surprised how crossing my arms really preferred one configuration over the other!
When it comes to holding someone’s hand, I wonder if I need to ask potential mates this question to test compatibility lol. Because I have noticed when I clasp hands with someone there is definitely a preferred configuration. But the amount of variability on this thread makes me think that maybe it is important to find a person who has this compatibility!!! I guess you want someone who has the same answer as your 1) ? Because then when you use your right hand to hold their left hand, you would have the same over/under preference (and vice versa for the other hands).
Hopefully I come back later to report on this research
All of my answers were right (and I'm right-handed, which may explain the preference), however, I do know that switch up which leg gets crossed if I start getting too tired or sweaty.
My left thumb is on top when I clasp my hands, and my left arm is on top when I cross my arms.
My right leg is on top when I cross my legs, but this one feels doable in the other way too, unlike the first two. Can’t even figure out how to cross my arms “backwards.”
when i clasp my hands my left thumb is always on top and when i fold my arms my left arm is on top most of the time, very rarely it will be right
i vary all the time with crossing my legs so it’s probably quite an even split between them, though crossing my legs automatically as i read this my left one went on top
1. Right thumb or Neither
2. Right Arm
3. I don't cross my legs, though sometimes I have a habit of sitting on my right foot and losing feeling afterwords. I guess you can say left leg in that case.
when you clasp your hands, which thumb is on top?
Right thumb is on top
when you cross your arms, which arm is on top?
Right arm on top crossed
when you cross your legs, which leg is on top?
Left leg on top is what I went for first, but I know I cross my legs both ways, sometimes ones more comfortable than the other, or sometimes I switch if one leg gets stiff
1. When you clasp your hands, which thumb is on top?
Left thumb
2. When you cross your arms, which arm is on top?
Right arm
3. When you cross your legs, which leg is on top?
I naturally did left leg first, but I think right leg is more comfortable at the moment. So I'll say right.
