Personally I like bottom right but I know people sometimes don't like their res building so close to the entrance so second choice is bottom left

I think I chose the bottom left. And my advice is to get it, because imo it's more versatile. It has the best coasts. Considering that thanks to terraforming you can decide where to create rivers, lakes and so on, there's no much difference in the choice of those four. The only two things that can't be changed are the Town Hall and the river mouths you can see in the map. I personally prefer to have the western and the eastern coasts without any river mouth, but honestly it's just my personal taste.
If you already have in mind how your Island should look like, I advice you to use some apps or websites to physically create the map of your Island to see which type is better. If you haven't anything in mind already, then choosing one of these four is almost the same thing, but as I said, I think the bottom left one is more versatile and could be great for any kind of idea.

from your new map options, i would personally go with the one on the bottom left. i’m not sure if there’s anything specific you’re wanting your island layout to have, but bottom left seems like it gives you plenty of space between rs and the airport to make a decent island entrance, and that’s something that’s important to me. if only i had known that when i chose my own island layout haha.

In this web page you can find all the Island designs available. As I said before, I advice you something that has Town Hall in the middle and the river mouths on the south. Basically like the bottom left one in the first pic you sent.

You have to ask yourself these questions "Do I want my Resident Services to be closer to the airport?" or "Do I want my Resident Services to be far from the airport" It depends on what you're looking for.

Well you may want to keep restarting because those layouts that I am seeing Resident Services is a bit too close to the airport. Trust me as someone who has restarted 50 times on the 2nd switch it can take a while to get the one layout where Resident Services is far from the airport.

in that case, the ones on the top right and bottom left seem to have the biggest peninsulas, but if none of them appeal to you, you can always close and reopen the game to get 4 new options until you find one you like.
