Which Personality type for Villagers do you tend to not like

For Me, I Can't stand Smug villagers; Because they come across as egotistical IDIOTS, and I Can't really stand them; Especially in New Horizons; for the months when I was Starting out; I've been DESPERATELY trying & Failing to Get Rid of Julian(I didn't even WANT to welcome him onto my island, but in order to progress I reluctantly did it a day later); Who really P***ed me off so much; I put him on the Farthest back place on my island; Thankfully, He's been gone for over a year now

Snooty is my least favorite, and jock is my favorite.

I think Lazy is my favourite. They seem funny and relatable.

none of them piss me off, per-say, but i’ve never really been a fan of jock and smug villagers, in terms of their designs and dialogue. i like a few villagers from both personalities, and don’t mind having those personalities around, but their dialogue can definitely start to irritate me after a while lol.

tbh i think at one point it was either snooty or peppy but idk, sort of forgotten what they're like and which personality it was lol- but i've got judy (snooty) now and i'm excited to get to know her! none of the villagers' personalities annoy me that much?? maybe it was the snooty or peppy's designs but i don't really remember what i didn't like that much about them. jock and lazy types are my favourite for sure!

Smug is my least favourite (except for Pietro and Chadder, who I like) but they don't really bother me. My favourite are lazy and normal villagers.

I'm sorry, but the thought of Julian just refusing to leave has me cracking up. Like he's so into himself that he's not getting the hint haha

Honestly, I really wouldn't be surprised if that WAS the case;

not rly a fan of peppy..... also certain smug types can be a little bit annoying but i think it depends on their subtype.
i love basically all the others. love cranky villagers cuz it just sorta feels like local dad looking after you. i think jocks are very funny and my favorite villager is a jock.

I like my smug villager Quillson because of his conversations with Renee, my sisterly villager. They crack me up EVERY TIME.

I think often times, personality types are quite one dimensional in that all their dialogue revolves around that one personality trait (normals only talking about being shy and housework, lazies only talking about food and bugs, jocks only talking about exercise, etc). I find that peppys, while still being energetic and over-friendly most of the time, can be quite sarcastic and sassy. So I think their dialogue has a lot more nuance to it than, say, normals. I think smugs and uchis also have more varied and flesh out dialogue

it’s very reminiscent of wild world where their personality type would be their main trait, but not their only trait

I really don’t like jock villagers. It’s annoying how much they talk about working out, I get really tired of interacting with them because it’s so repetitive. I haven’t had any jock villagers in this town or in my previous NL town.
I also don’t like snooty villagers. They come off as stuck-up to me, and they’re downright rude. They also talk down upon the town or others in the town. I’ll put up with some of them because they’re cute or go with a certain aesthetic (I like the way Mathilda looks so I’ll have her as my only snooty in my gothic town). But only 1-2 max.

I personally like all of the personalities one way or another, I feel each has their pros and cons and having at least one villager per personality really makes AC more interesting interaction-wise. That being said, when it comes to picking my least favorite I voted both Jock and Sisterly.

Jocks to me are the least amusing, I feel building them as exercise freaks can get stale really quickly, and it feels the most out-of-touch personality with real-world scenarios. Like I know people who love sports and exercising and I’ve never seen them express these interests with so much gusto like the Jocks do. I don’t know anyone who sceams PROTEIN SHAKES every 5 mins or something. (I know Peppies also scream POP STAR every 5 mins, but hey at least you know kids do that too, so I just imagine a lot of the Peppies as kids.)

Sisterlies are my second least-favorite, but it’s less about the personality and more on design. Sisterlies for me have the weakest designs, there’s no one sisterly I really like or resonate with, and it’s just a bummer. In fact, I don’t have any sisterly in my current island because I don’t think any of the sisterlies are Asian-themed, which is what my island is gearing towards right now. I’m also incredibly disappointed Shino wasn’t a sisterly, I have her on my island and I still can’t get used to her Peppy personality because she looks mostly like a Sisterly, or at least a Snooty. If Shino were a Sisterly, I would’ve taken back my vote on Sisterly, but alas.

I like all of the personality types but the Snooty and Cranky are my least favorites. I think the snooty villagers can be very arrogant and rude, especially when they try to fight with other villagers. They also tend to show a lot of attitude. Likewise, the cranky villagers can be very rude and I don't like their snide remarks, but they become very friendly towards you and warm up once you manage to become friends with them.

My least favourites are normals and jocks. I find normals to be very plain and devoid of any personality. When I had Coco and Merengue on my island, I didn't feel like I enjoyed their dialogue compared to other personalities. Jocks were downgraded in NH to only talk about working out and muscles, which is also akin to having no personality. I have many favourite villager designs that are both normals and jocks, but because I can't stand their personalities I only limit that personality to at least 1 on my island.

I think they all have their pros and cons!!

Spoiler: my lengthy reasonings in bullet point form

-Snooty: I ADORE snooties. They're so fancy! Even though they can be pretty rude sometimes, you know that they're simply being genuine with you (which is both hilarious and respectable at the same time honestly.)
-Peppy: I LOVE PEPPIES!!!!!!!! I think I relate to peppies like way too much, lol. I just love their energy and sassiness! Favorite personality type by far.
Normal: Normals are just so sweet. They will be your ride or die from day one. Like they're just simply adorable in every way omg.
Uchi: The spunk! We love to see it.
Lazy: They're just so ridiculous and immature and I have adopted all of them (excluding Al & Barold cause ew sorry)
Jock: Everything they say is just so ridiculous. It's so funny. Like I'm sitting there reading their dialogue like huh??? what?????? I love them.
Smug: Do I even need to give a reason? Amazing, keep it up, kings. Obviously I adore them.
Cranky: Here's where I am less enthusiastic. I love them in Wild World. I have Rocco in that one, and he's the kind of character that I love to hate. I constantly just clown on him cause I think it's funny honestly. He's a running joke with my friends. I had Tom in New Leaf for a minute, and he was nice too. But I honestly cannot stand them in New Horizons. I've had several and I just cannot connect with them at ALL. Have every personality type on my island except cranky and I think it will stay that way.

Lazy villagers make me chuckle, but jocks (bar Rowan) are awful, and peppy villagers wear me out.
