Clothes and the other section. I have so many clothes that I don’t need because Livia wears the same thing most days. I don’t want to get rid of anything though because what if I need it some day. I also hoard fruit, materials and nmt.
Echoing the "Clothes" and "Other" sections. I hoard a lot of the seasonal materials/items and I always want to leave some clothes "in case I feel like wearing them".
Honorable mention to the creatures section, stockpiling 3 of each fish/bug to make a model ramps up the numbers. It has been reducing constantly thanks to the 2 week cycle.
clothing, easily. back before the new storage upgrade, i was having to regularly take out several pieces at a time to make room for other things like unorderables. second biggest is materials since i have at least four stacks of most, dozens of star fragments, and a good number of bush starts among other things.
Oh god its the Clothes! I really REALLY was shocked when it was taking up so much space. I had to sell all of it because I gotten them from my villagers and I thought "Okay I might as well just store these away" didn't realize it was going to clog my storage. So the next time I get clothing I throw it away in the trash because I have a bin next to my home. Getting clothes is so annoying in this game.
Clothes definitely takes up the majority of my free space. I have a bad habit of hoarding all the different colors and variations without even the slightest clue if I’ll ever wear it or not. Materials would be the second leading cause to my max storage problems. I have too many star frags piling up and have not crafted any DIYs that require them in a while. It’s gotten way better ever since the storage upgrade though, I haven’t hit max storage space since upgrading.
Me and all my friends have this problem with clothes taking up most the storage. Before the big upgrade we had to sell or dump all of the clothes outside just to make room for materials and other stuff. xD
