They have a five say wait so if she told you the first day and you just let her go, that's okay. Just take it day by day continue talking to her, eventually she will ask you if you really want her to leave, usually. They you can keep her!

I think yesterday, the 30th or the 29th I stopped Erik from moving. Nobody in my town is moving away, which is why I have that "Dont forget: You're Here Forever" pattern in my town.
