Who here actually likes TBT's Easter Egg Hunt?

I'm excited! This is my first one and I can't find any. It's so difficult but my goal is to find 10 (I need that dreamy egg!!!)

I mean it's kind of the reason I started being active here again so yeah I'd say I like it a lot. It's satisfying to find eggs and I guess I also enjoy how lively the forums are during it.

I'm too dumb to figure out the clues so I've been visiting pages randomly and hoping for the best... so far I've found one egg. ;v;

Meh. It's fun for a little bit, but gets increasingly frustrating and not worth it to me. Yeah, the new eggs are gorgeous, but a virtual egg isn't worth me spending an entire holiday weekend to get, especially when I could be spending time with my family. I think it was really unfair to hold such a time-consuming event on a holiday, as not everyone can be on the internet all day over Easter weekend. I really don't mean to be a downer, but I hope next year the mods choose a weekend that makes sense. Even just the weekend before or after Easter would have been great, or early April like they did the previous years. I'm not even religious, nor do I celebrate Easter for those reasons, but I feel the people who are and do celebrate Easter that way would have an even harder time partaking in this event.

Your feedback about holding the event father away from the actual Easter date is definitely noted, but I'd like to point out that the date of Easter changes every year and the event has always been held then. When you reference it being held at different times in previous years, that's when Easter was in that year. We haven't changed anything.

I love the Egg Hunts. Unfortunately i don't have that much time this year, so I'm just going for the ditto egg. (maybe the zipper sakura too if i can)

i could disappear from the forum for an entire year but i always remember to come back for the egg hunt! it's my favourite event because everyone suffers together. the clues are always so clever and solving them is so gratifying. i even enjoy the bit when the answers are revealed and i feel stupid. it's all part of the fun, and every year it gets more satanic.

I actually did pretty well last year, some of them I read and immediately knew where to go. That was my first year participating, so I was really excited for this year's egg hunt. I can't find many this year. I found one egg by accident and I don't even know what clue it fell under so I can't even rule that out, haha...

it tells you the egg number in the pm they send when you get the egg! it also shows up in your transactions

This is my first egg hunt! I was at a convention and was incredibly busy, but I had a blast solving puzzles and finding eggs. The egg collectables are gorgeous too!

Yeah, after experiencing the event for the first time really, this is my stance on it as well now. I really don?t like the fact that it?s actually on Easter weekend as myself and others can be really busy during this time spending time with family and celebrating the religious aspect of the holiday. I only found one egg in the event, but that?s largely not because I couldn?t find any of the others, but because I had almost no time to. If it was any other weekend I feel like I could have found much more than I did, but because I was busy it was kind of a moot point to try. Hopefully this doesn?t come across the wrong way. I really, really like the event and am amazed and thankful that the staff goes through so much trouble to make it a great one. I just wish I had the time to actually participate in it. :/

I do! I really enjoy them. It's a fun community event, and even if I haven't been around TBT for ages, I always come back for the egg hunt. I do sometimes find the flashy animations a little bit too much (I suffer from sensory issues) but we have the Undercover theme so they're not a massive problem.

I agree with you and mnm's view on the Egg Hunt as well in terms of timing (I prioritized family time because of it being a holiday), but you got to admit that staff did make a very smart decision on extending the hunt to late Monday. o/ I was only able to get my 13 Eggs because I did almost 2 all-nighters! xD I think if they changed anything for future Egg Hunts, I think they should start it on Good Friday and end it on Monday (like this year) so people who celebrate Easter can enjoy time with their families and it also will give everyone else more time to solve clues which would be very nice for people who find solving clues difficult (to maintain the interest of more experienced members, clues can still have scheduled releases). o/ Those are just my thoughts! Another added bonus of having a longer event is that it also will allow staff to introduce a few more clues potentially so people have more opportunities to get the Egg collectibles they want (& it also will make the Gold Egg even more of a challenge).

Additionally, by having more Egg currency through more clues, staff could have make it possible for people to get the rare egg collectibles from past events in very limited quantities (that don't get restocked) by paying a higher premium for them than the new eggs (to retain the rarity/collectibility). Just an idea! Through this idea, more lineup options would be possible and it would allow people to get their dream egg collectibles!
