Well I'm currently replaying Pokemon Y in honor if it's 11 year and in preparation of Legend: A-Z, assuming I get it that st. It's honestly been a lot of fun... until I get to Route 13. The red clay route with the power plants before you hit Lumiose City again? Yeah that one! It's like there are no trainers there but there are so many wild pokemon chasing you nonstop from the ground in all directions! There's also the occasional sandstorms that make it hard to move! Scavenging for items was a nightmare ughhhh...
What pokemon route would you say was the most painful for you or most disliked and why?
Whichever route it is in the Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee games that has several trainers with Pokemon who have OHKO moves.... yeah, they did not need to do that. Lol.
Kalos Route 1 is completely pointless. There is absolutely nothing interesting or special about it. You literally walk through it once and never again because there is nothing there to see again.
Kanto Roue 7. I can understand route 1s in regions being simple for the sake of being accessible to new players, but the route right before the 4th gym being a super short straight road with an optional grass patch on the side is really underwhelming.
Kalos Route 1 definitely. Its been said though so I'll mention GSC Victory Road. Its more of dungeon than a route but its still a "road". There is honestly no point of it imo. No NPC trainers like in RBY to battle other than one mandatory one. All the mons are too low leveled so training there doesn't really work. You battle your rival here but he is so weak at this point of the game that it doesn't matter either. The road leading to Victory Road is more of a Victory Road than Victory Road itself. HGSS didn't even fix this. It is still terrible and I consider HGSS one of the best Pokemon games.
Hoenn Route 132 (west of Pacifidlog town). There's most definitely routes that are objectively worse than this one, but this is the one that immediately popped into my head when I saw this topic. I guess it's cool because it has the Sealed Chamber, but the large amounts of one-way currents make it annoying to try and get every item/battle every trainer without a map.
