It's time to learn the truth about your fellow forum-goers :p

If you dropped food on the floor, would you eat it? No shame either way. Personally I do not eat food off the floor (or even off restaurant tables) because I'm very paranoid about germs.

Generally, no, but it could depend on the type of food and how clean the floor is. If I drop it on my own floor and it's not something that picks up a lot of dirt, then I might consider eating it. Like if I dropped an apple on my kitchen floor, I'd just wash it off and eat it anyway. But I would never eat anything that has been dropped on a floor other than my own because then I wouldn't trust it, even if I washed it off.

Most of the time, I drop things like fries or chicken nuggets, though, and I won't eat those off the floor. My dog gets an extra treat when that happens. :p

it mostly depends on how clean these floor is (like if it's dropped outside my house then definitely not) but it also depends on if there's anyone around to see me? And how sleep deprived i am? not that it happens often omg :))))) But also when I'm with friends and they do that i try to tell them not to because germs

I would never do it. I don't tend to drop food on the floor anyway, and whenever I do I just throw it out. Even though I hate wasting food, I don't want to get sick from anything that might be on that floor.

I wouldn't, it's just too weird for me, even if the floor is really clean. Table though...if the table appears clean, I guess maybe. Except oily tables. Honestly, just no in general.

For me it depends on the cleanliness of the floor, the type of food, and the quantity. If a floor is even a little dirty then no, I won't. If the food is wet or has a runny/sticky texture, then I won't eat it. If I dropped a tiny bit of food then it wouldn't be too bad, but if I dropped a whole bunch then again, depending on the type, I may or may not eat it.

I have like a whole ritual for floor food lmao

Listen folks.

You don't know what's taken place on that floor.

Someone could have thrown up, spat, pee'd or taken a dump, or even DIED there. o_O

I can't believe this is a poll, and that people actually voted YES. O_O

If you don't know what's going on on your own kitchen floor then why are you still living there lmao (aka yall should prob be mopping more than once every four months smh)

There was no mention of kitchen. It was just floor in general. :)

It makes me shudder to think of anyone doing this. Yuck. :(

Heck yeah, I'm not a queen.

Being hygienic doesn't make you a queen. :)

I was going to say the same, if it's an apple or something I can wash and the floor is clean, I will most likely eat it, otherwise no. I ate a dropped M&M this Halloween, but it was on the room floor where it's supposed to be cleaner. I polished it a little before. Elsewhere like bathroom floor or kitchen floor, I would have let it go.

It's not specified which floor it is, I assumed it was in our home.

Totally depends on the floor and the type of food.

If it's in my house or the house of someone I know is a clean freak, the food has been on the floor for less than thirty seconds, it's the kind of thing that won't attract dust & dirt the moment it hits the floor, and it can be easily picked up off the floor? I will absolutely eat it.

If it's at work or in public, the food has been on the floor for an extended period of time, it's the kind of thing that will attract dust & dirt the moment it hits the floor (i.e., a cough drop that's fallen out of your mouth), or it can't be easily picked up off the floor (i.e., pudding)... that food is going into the compost, no matter how tasty it is or how hungry I am. :(

Depends on what's been on the floor and what food, yeah. I mean if it fell into a puddle or a pile of **** then obviously no, but if it was like a piece of bread with the non-butter side down on my own floor then yes. Although if I dropped like some creamy thing outside then no.

Depends on the food and on the floor. If I drop something hard like an apple on my kitchen floor, I'd just wash the apple and eat it. If I dropped spaghetti anywhere, I would not... Duh!

If its good food then yes, unless it's visibly dirty which I wouldnt be able to stomach. Getting a little bit of bacteria in me isn't that big of a deal.

Absolutely not, I have been "in trouble" with this before (like when you have friends over for dinner and you bought the exact amount of sweet potatoes you need and then one drops to the floor..) but I just can't stand the idea. I thought that perhaps it would be different if it was a floor where people did not walk with shoes on (I mean shoes are the grossest things), but even then.. No. Way too much of a germ freak! I even don't eat anything after getting off public transport (if I have touched the door/rail/anything) without having washed my hands first. You never know!

No because knowing my luck, I'll pick up a hair with it. I will definitely try to save chocolate though :p :p :p
