Would you ever reset?

My previous town was less than 3 days old and I loved the layout, I really thought it was the perfect one. But my attempt at TT'ing somehow ended in a mess so I had to reset.
It took me a while to find another town that I was satisfied with, but I must say, I am glad I did. The layout of this town was not as perfect as the previous one, however its quirks really made me love this town even more. Although I do like the previous villagers a lot more (Bianca & Poncho), nevertheless I'm sure I'd be able to get my dream villagers one way or another.

I do hate pretty much everything about my town now... Where the campsite/cafe/police station are, the layout, the bridges, everything. I started in July, and I don't want to lose that on my ID card to start with. Starting not too long after it came out in my country is something kind of big for me. However, because of this, it's so blatantly obvious I've TT'd a tonne too and that annoys me (with the town tree and stuff) so there's a massive urge to restart. However, as much as I dislike my town now, I don't want to lose my progress. All the PWP's, villager relationships and everything have been such a hassle to get... So I don't want to restart and lose it all. I'd rather have a second copy.
