Would you kick a villager out and move them back in to reset their house/clothes?

I did this for Sherb because he has the boring house interior and was so worth it! I found him on my second NMT journey so I got super lucky. Yea I had to regift him clothes and now his catchphrase is bawww again but it’s worth it!

I would! I gave marshal a jean jacket because I wanted to give him something and it happened to be in my pocket at that moment. But I really don’t like the way it looks on him but he wears it all the time. I already reached max friendship with him so I think it would be fun to reset him and befriend him again without that darn jean jacket!

I plan on doing that for my baby boy Sherb. Was super lucky and got him in the initial 3 houses where you gotta craft for them, but it also means his adorable sky-blue cute set is gone- luckily the exterior matches and is blue just like him, though!

I want to get his natural stuff :c

I already did and I would do it again.

I had Rod as my starting villager and I wasn't really happy with his furniture. So I let him leave when he wanted to move. Found him again and invited him back.

Now, I adopted Rolf from someone else, and he often wears the suspender outfit that the original player gave him. Since it is a full outfit, he wears the pants as a skirt, and I'm not really too happy about it. Reporting to Isabelle only resets the clothes/catchphrases you give, not someone else's.

I already moved out all my starting five except for Audie. I can move her out then back if I want to. Her original beach-themed house is cool but I prefer the default peppy interior, at least for now. It fits her well lol

I have Ruby and Broccolo’s amiibo cards on the way, but I won’t use them. I like Broccolo’s lazy starter house more than his kiddy interior one.
Ruby’s space theme is gorgeous, but I don’t want her to lose all our memories together by resetting her in my village. The pink girly starter theme kinda suits her anyway and I put a crescent moon chair in her garden to compensate, hehe.

I already did it. I kicked Apple out then decided to go island hopping. Guess who was waiting on the first island.

At this point it's getting really tempting, since I'm sick of the intro villager houses and I kind of regret giving my villagers stupid clothes. I just don't like that I'd have to restart everything with them since I feel like I've gotten so far.
