Would you like to see more diverse hairstyles?

I was just going to say this, I don't play pc, but seeing the collection promos on my twitter tl always provokes a case of envy-nitis lol. I mean they have 'mermaid' hair, it's just so adorable!

I can't imagine anyone who would say no to more options. I have an absolute weakness for character customization so the more options, the better!

i wouldn’t care either way. I would like longer hair options like the low pony tail, but I’m okay with what we have. I would rather have more furniture options (sorry for sounding like a broken record); the furniture and some other things are what I care about the most when playing any ac game.

i was coming in here to say the same! idk, maybe long hair options wouldn't look as good as i'm imagining, but i'd love to have those options! i'm sticking to my little bun till then.

Quite a controversial one, but exactly what the title says. For those who don't know, in November, Nintendo added more hairstyles, but the most notable ones were, cornrows, an afro in 2 different styles, buns, and the ability to go bald. Many people, including me, were happy to see that Nintendo is becoming more inclusive with the game. But, would you like Nintendo were to make more hairstyles that become more inclusive with other races?
Though please note, being controversial, please don't snap at other people's opinions

One of the things I want is a curly haircut that’s length is in between the two we do have. I feel like more braid variations would be amazing as well.

I wouldn’t mind more hairstyles. There aren’t many great hairstyles for male. My character is male and he has the spiked hair, but I wish there were more options. I’d like different hairstyles.

Pls nintendo, give us more gender diverse ponytails. Lots of guys irl have long hair or a ponytail but the in-game options are limited. I'm sure anyone could make use of more hair styles.

I'll never say no to more hair options! I'm glad we have as many as we do, but there's still a lot of really nice hairstyles that just aren't represented in the game, which is a bit of a shame; as it is currently, it's unfortunately one of the more limiting factors in character customization. And the more diverse/inclusive the options, the better—sometimes it's little things, like having a specific haircut, that can really mean a lot to someone. I'll also second everybody wishing for more hair colors too; I'd love to see some different blond tones, light browns, dark blue and purple, and a pure white.

More is more....which is something New Horizons needs pretty badly. People from all walks of life should be able to look at a game like this and see something of themselves in it. You obviously can't encompass everything, but a genuine attempt goes a long way.

My guess is that, now that the hair has physics, moving in the wind and reacting to your character running and things, longer hair is harder to do. I'm pretty sure in New Leaf and all previous games, the hair was just a sort of solid hair-shaped object. But I could be wrong about all that.

And I'm indifferent to hairstyles, personally. I don't care if more are added or not. I chose a hairstyle on my first day playing last year, and I haven't changed it since. ^o^;>

Sure, I'd love to see more. We're at an ok amount of variety currently, but there are a few gaps of sorts that could be filled with some new ones.

I wouldn’t use them since they’re not my hair texture but I think there should definitely be more it’s important that people can express themselves. I’d also like to see more hair colours especially very common ones like light brown. More wavy and curly hairtypes would nice too (maybe a hair type option on the already existing straight hairstyles?). I get why the game is lagging behind in the long hair department because I remember long hair was added in City Folk where the hairstyles literally came to the character’s waist but they lengthened the characters in New Leaf but not the hair lol xD but as someone with hip length hair I’d love that in game lol

Not that bothered with it either way as I never cared that much for Nintendo avatars, because they're very bare bones and usually the environment and NPCs are what I actually recall and care about. There would be no harm in it for sure though. Well except all the drama that happened last time where people played gate keeper and went around deciding who was the proper skin tone and ethnicity to use the hairs. That was gross.

More variety would be nice but also, I would love to see light brown hair in the game. Right now, there's only a reddish auburn color and dark brown. Then there's light blonde and golden blonde. What about us poor people with boring light brown hair?

I would love that! For the colour it could be neat to just have a colour picker tool (think stardew valley) and more hairstyles wouldn't hurt. I have curly hair and can't find a haristyle to represent it since it's not exactly loose waves or coily. I'd also love if we could add a fringe/bangs to a haristyle...
