I would use it if it was there. I am short. I would also use a chunky option too.
However would they actually add this? I don't think so. That is going to be alot of work readjusting the clothing and I simply don't see Nintendo going through all that effort. Honestly I would rather put that time into something else. They do work on a time schedule afterall. So I guess that also answers if I would want it.
I do think the character templates look fine as they are.

I'd like them to implement height/weight options ala Mii maker, that would be great for including different body shapes and another step into making more people feel represented.

It sounds cool in theory, but with all the clothes already in the game I don't think it would work right. They'd have to do a massive overhaul for clothes alone to accommodate for size differences without being 'stretched' to fit or 'shrunk' would probably make the clothes patterns get all jumbled.

It would be a neat feature had they implemented it early on.

i'm 4'10 irl, i think it'd be fun if you could make your character short like the squirrel villagers. or maybe tall like the horse villagers. i think it'd be cute, i'd use it for sure

I was just thinking about how players' heights cannot be changed, every Animal Crossing game has had a set height for all players. but there are short and tall animals so why can't there be short and tall people?

if it became a feature in the series would you choose to make your character shorter? (like in the older games, maybe not with such a big head though lol). I personally wouldn't mind at least having the option.

Heck yeah! I'd have a shortie, i'm short in real life so it would fit. Imagine all of the things you could accomplish when you are able to set height, you could have a very tall elephant and a very small bunny. I'd love that, and it's good for extra customization for the game. I would be so into that, anything extra that the game can give to you to change your character and look more unique is always an added and welcomed bonus.
