Here to report that just today I reached level 79 in the game finally, which means I'm one level away from capping!! Almost all three of my teams have maxed fortes as well, so I'll probably be attempting ToA seriously for the first time soon. Wish me luck! ​

I decided to pull for yinlin since her banner came back and from what I heard about the next character release, it isn't one I really want to get tbh. I also got yinlin's weapon on the first pull!! I am out of currency for now, so I am hunting chests on the map and collecting materials. I have been trying to upgrade everyone I like that is in my inventory. I have changli fully ascended, and her tree fully upgraded. I also have her weapon fully maxed out and all I have left on her, are her star thingys and the other upgrading thing on her weapon. I am holding off on those things for now along with echo upgrades. I do need to start thinking about what echos I want permanently on her so I can get those knocked out. I also wish that some of the materials needed for the skill trees on characters were not limited to 3 every week. Because those 3 battles (weekly challenge bosses I guess is what they are called) count for all of them, and not 3 per monster. So I can only get those special materials for one character each week. It will take a while to get all the skill trees done for all of my characters.
I did manage to get Lumi. I thought she was a fun character to play with so I am happy she showed up during the pulls for Yinlin.

.....and it's over! I've successfully capped in Wuthering Waves, and before Christmas at that. Still have yet to attempt to clear Tower of Adversity, but I'll do it at some point soon. This game has been so much fun so far!

Also, here's a sneak peek at the next region for the game, Rinascita, that came out several weeks ago. Wuthering Waves 2.0 is on the way!

I hope you guys watched the livestream so you can get those codes! Honestly I am so excited for the 2.0 patch, the new area looks and sounds amazing. Also I really am excited for the QoL updates they are implementing this time around which I think will add for easier and smoother gameplay and less tedious traveling to get synthesizing done! The new characters look really cool and cute too, but I am still not a fan of the pistol characters.

Can I stop for just a second to say some of the 2.0 first character designs look so bad??? Carlotta's got bug eyes with her mask on, and it doesn't look good at all. The child character in phase 2 or whatever has a weird hairstyle and it's weird colors too. I'm sorry, but I'll probably only be pulling her for meta.

The only character they've revealed so far for 2.0 that I'm actually looking forward to is Zani, because her design doesn't suck and she seems interesting. Hopefully Rinascita is an exciting region too, I kind of found Jinzhou to be super boring.

Cleared Tower of Adversity for the first time! That was actually way, way easier than I thought it would be. In fact, scoring 2300 points on the newest stage of the Tactical Simulacra event was much more difficult.

I'm curious how much more challenging the Overdrive Zone is, but I'm not going to worry about clearing that for now. Just happy that I've found a new source to earn Astrites!​

Carlotta showcase video is out. I'm unsure if I'll be pulling for her to be honest. Her kit doesn't really appeal to me, and if they didn't fix her bug eyes, then it's a hard pass. We'll see though!​

I bit the bullet and pulled for Carlotta in this game. Ended up losing to Verina at first, but then I got her and her weapon!! I have her pretty much fully built now aside from fortes, and she's doing great. I mainly decided to pull for her because her BiS support is Zhezhi, and my Zhezhi is maxed and also has maxed fortes. Not to mention Carlotta is really pretty and kind of insane as a DPS as well.

I also started the newest story in Rinascita and completed Act I. I believe there's three acts, but MAN is this region beautiful, and the story is really great so far. Can't wait to play more tomorrow! ​

Finished Act III today and thereby finished the newest story! It was SO good to be honest, and miles better than the newest Genshin Impact story IMO. Also helps that the main antagonist for this chapter is one of my favorite characters in the entire game.

Planning on doing some quests and then exploring tonight. I want to get those Astrites! Here's some snaps I saved from the story. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did!

Late post as always, but I'm enjoying the 2.0 update so far. I managed to pull Carlotta and her weapon from the asterites I've been saving up for the entirety of 1.4. I'll be saving up more since I'm looking forward to the sentinel resonator of Rinascita.

I am really loving the new area and I wasn't sure if I was going to pull for Carlotta because I am not the biggest fan of her weapon type but I decided to pull for her because I loved her playstyle and her character. I don't think I will pull for her weapon until she reruns again so I can save up for future characters. I really want Roccia, I think she's so cute and I believe she will be good with Camellya who I would like to build a team for.

I also finally tried to see if I could get Wuthering Waves on my PS5 and after clearing some space I was able to get it on my console and let me tell you how much improvement it is compared to my PC (which honestly is not a gaming PC, and basically can't really support any type of game play) the images are so crisp, there is no lag and I can see the echoes when I need to absorb them. I'm so very pleased but I know that eventually I may have to pick between Wuwa or Genshin ugh.. unless I either upgrade my PS5 or somehow get a new computer that can handle gaming.

I unlocked one of the achievement namecards and absolutely LOVE how it looks with Camellya. Managed to come up with a new signature that's fitting for her (and me too) as well. 8 ]

I also pulled for Carlotta w1 a couple days ago and lost to yet another copy of Jianxin, so now I'm guaranteed for Roccia... which I'm actually really glad about, because while she's good for meta (and Camellya), I do not like her personality or design all that much (SERIOUSLY, why did they make her look like a child??? ).

I've also saved up a good amount of Astrites, so will probably be able to pull Roccia without spending any money. I've been having a lot of fun with the update otherwise! Managed to get a triple crit Sentry Construct for Carlotta the very first time I farmed it. The only echo that's eluded me for her thus far is getting double crit on another 1 cost... but it'll come home eventually.​

The double crit 1 cost came home FINALLY!! I am beyond elated.

Carlotta's final stats for me on the Frosty Resolve set. I have double crit now on all 4 echoes, and triple crit on the main echo. Only stat that's lacking a bit is her Energy Regen, but I honestly don't really care. I'm just glad the hunt for another double crit 1 cost is over. ​

I don't have too much to update except that I got Jinshi's new outfit which is soo pretty, I really like the design and it was really worth it for me to get. I wasn't sure if I was going to get it because it's hard to enjoy new outfits on characters on a computer that is basically a potato for games but since I am now playing it on the PS5 I can enjoy the pretty graphics and outfit.

I'm hoping I can get the standard 5 star weapon for Carlotta for the time being until she reruns and then I'll consider pulling her weapon. I just want to be able to save enough to pull for Roccia and hopefully still have some leftover for future characters because I know there are a few that I am going to want. Life is hard in a gacha game haha.

The resonator combat showcase is out for Roccia. While I don't like her design or personality all that much, her gameplay looks REALLY fun, and she'll be a good support for Camellya with the new Havoc set, so I'll be pulling her. Thankfully I'm guaranteed, so I can just chuck Astrites at her banner until she comes home. May all Roccia wanters be Roccia havers! ​

The game exceeded my expectations, honestly. I thought it would be good but the more updates they release, the better and smoother it gets. My husband specifically adores the game! I would highly recommend it to anyone that's still unsure.

Been pretty slow with the gachas I'm playing and their main story quests, but have to say wuwa exceeded my expectations so far with this patch Pretty sure I'm still pretty early on in the story though, but man Rinascita feels more full than the prior regions. My main complaint with wuwa was the world feeling rather dull, not because of the post apocalyptic world but just felt lacking. Rinascita feels more lively imo, and being able to fly with no restrictions but stamina is a game changer. Trying my best to not rush exploration with how convenient it is with the exploration tab showing whats left.

I'm torn on Roccia because while I know her buffs and CC are great for Camellya, Sanhua at S6 already feels good enough, esp having like no on field time. Also doesn't help that I can look at dirt and find that prettier than Roccia lol I'll likely still be attempting the 5050 and if I don't get her, hello Brant gathering wives killed it this patch
