this is so nice of you to do! I joined so long ago I can't exactly remember why I joined, but I'm fairly certain I was a lurker for a while and then decided I wanted to be part of the community + be able to actually interact with everyone on here!
I'd love to enter! I joined yesterday, but I've already opened up an art shop and I'm loving it! I joined TBT because I had heard about how nice of a community there was, and I wanted to show my art to others!
I joined the forums because I was a huge New Leaf fanatic and after lurking for awhile I decided it seemed like a great community. Although I started playing Animal Crossing in 2013, I was only allowed to join three years later at age 16 (strict parents who hated all social media). Thank you for doing this, I sent the TBT.
Hey, thanks for doing this! I would love to enter, and I've already sent the bells. I joined the forum to trade items in New Leaf! I remember that I was trying to get the items "pumpkin pie" and "turkey" and I hadn't had any luck on other sites. Congrats on your (almost) one year anniversary of joining! I hope year 2 is even better.
I joined this forum waaayyyy back in 2011 when I was only 12. I can't remember exactly why I joined considering I never used it much til 2016, but I think it was because my brother and jvgsjeff are members here. I remember my first 3 friends here were them as well as Sockhead

i joined TBT back in early 2014 (i was only 13) because animal crossing was one of my only comforts as a little emo kid in elementary/middle school and so I eventually found bell tree and would regularly lurk here. i guess i just decided to make it official one day and the rest is history. I’ve taken a few long hiatuses since then but i’m more active now than i’ve ever been! ☺

I joined Belltree in 2018 after seeing that it was a nice community who would be able to trade in New Leaf. Then I never traded and went on a long hiatus until New Horizons came out, and the community is just so great so I had to stay. My own Bell Tree anniversary is in July when my account will turn three years old. Happy anniversary!!!
Thanks for doing this! I joined a little after New Horizons came out since I was having a hard time finding my dreamies on reddit - wish I joined back when I first started playing wild world cause this site has been so helpful!

the reason i joined the bell tree is because i was a new player; i knew about the game, but had no experience playing, and it was my first chance to play the game. i obtained all the fruit from another member here, and i've been using this site ever since to log my progress on my island, and help out other community members / get help in return.

I distinctly remember making an account to get afternoon tea set in New Leaf, I loved the item so much and was sad when I found out it was DLC I didn't have access to. lol
I wish they would bring it back in NH! It's just so cute.
They should bring the sweets set back, and the cake display case too for that matter.
Thanks for this giveaway! I joined back in 2013 and I'm trying to remember the exact reason why haha. I had been playing New Leaf for awhile so it was probably to trade villagers or items. I remember really wanting the 7-11 set and getting it from here way back in the day.
My story in joining the forums was for some reason some day ( I think on July 11th or 10th of 2019) , I decided to watch an Animal Crossing New Leaf Youtube video even though I had not played New Leaf in months, and during the video, the Youtuber mentioned how one of their mods gifted them a villager they wanted. I was then perpelexed about how you could gift villagers as I was not very knowledgeable of the game at that time, so I looked up how it worked and read an article over it and also found this forum called The Bell Tree where people gifted/traded villagers. The next few days I lurked around watching the Villager Trading Plaza and seeing how things worked and waiting to see if a villager I thought was cool would pop up, then after a few days, I decied to make an account and join TBT and the rest is history!
I joined a couple of years ago when I was really getting into New Leaf. I was late to the party. I kept googling questions I had about the game and most of my answers were found on this forum. So I started lurking here for a while and eventually decided to join so I could trade for the region locked items like the blossom lantern and hinaningyo. I'm still here years later because this is such a wonderful community and there are so many fun events on the forum to take part in.
I first joined because I didn't own any amiibos and my 3ds couldn't scan them anyway, but I wanted the new furniture from the Welcome amiibo update for New leaf.
I joined to catalog furniture sets on ACNH, as it was getting too tedious to purchase items one by one on Nookazon. And then of course got sucked into the collectible cult.
I first joined because I played a lot of acnl and had a cycle town so I had a thread on here to sell people villagers. I originally was doing it on tumblr but I somehow stumbled upon this website and had to join!

Why did I join TBT? I kept seeing amiibo items and costumes that I wanted, but I couldn't get legitimately. When I saw players joining Tortimer's island dressed as Zelda/Sanrio/Splatoon characters I told myself I just had to get these cute costumes too, so I scoured the ends of the internets to find a reliable place (this was before Nookazon) and stumbled my way unto here. Best thing that ever happened. I only wish I knew earlier that this site existed!
