wild world music is the most nostalgic for me so that's my favourite although new leaf is a very close second
new horizons is the worst for music imo

also i gotta say, k.k. sonata is the prettiest k.k. slider song in the whole game

wild world definitely had the best soundtrack imo! it was one of my first ever video games + my first ac game so it’s incredibly nostalgic for me but the hourly tracks are honestly just,, a bop in general aha. ;P

as for my favourite songs, they have to be stale cupcakes, hypno k.k., k.k. synth, i love you, k.k. lullaby, farewell and animal city!

Wild World were my first AC game, but the music in New Leaf is superior, and the best in the series in my opinion, New Horizons music is the worst in the series though, and I wish I could turn it off, almost gives me a headache can’t stand it.

I'd also say that New Leaf has the best music, the hourly soundtrack is so immersive and atmospheric at its best.

Though I will say I love the Nook's Cranny closing time song.

The first time I heard it come on I was shocked, it's the best song in the game imo

I think Wild World, all of the hourly music is good and extremely nostalgic for me.

New Leaf is also great, my favourite hourly music would have to be 1pm/2pm/5pm.

Comparing New Horizons to those two, I definitely think it's the weakest in terms of music. There are some hours I love, like 12pm and 6pm, and then ones I can't stand, like 2pm.

Can’t lie, there was one time I woke up at like 3AM and Hypno KK was stuck in my head and I straight up was filled with terror lol

It's really hard to pick specifics. Snowy and rainy variants of the hourly music are always really good, especially from New Leaf. The different shop themes are good, but I especially like the Able Sisters and the Museum music in New Leaf. Pretty much every regular hourly song from the original is also really good. There's just too many to name.

Though I never really played City Folk/Wild World, the music is by far my favorite. It just has that charming, cozy, slow forest life vibe that I feel perfectly captures the essence of what Animal Crossing is all about at its core.

New Leaf is the most nostalgic for me, as its the music that I’ve heard the most. While not as charming as City Folk/Wild World, it is still very memorable and there are quite a few lovely tracks.

As for New Horizons...the music is so generic and unmemorable that if you asked me to hum a tune from the game on the spot, I wouldn’t be able to do it—it is simply too bland/lacking in charm to stick in my mind.

Nothing can top Wild World's soundtrack for me, it just creates the most charming atmosphere! I listen to it daily while working. That accordion always hits.
