the amount of profit peeps are making online off buying up all their local stores .. its pretty ridiculous. The buggers who ruined Amiibos for us are back at it again with the Amiibo Cards ;-; me and my gf have been all over the place between 3 nearby cities..

I haven't exactly been hunting yet, I just got one pack yesterday from a giveaway a favorite Streamer of mine held (bless his heart), and when he went to Walmart I believe in search of Little Mac he picked up 3 packs. I don't recall him announcing how many there were available at the time. He's in New York. In my area, I went to a local Best Buy to get my copy of the game only 2-3 days ago and an Employee told me and my mom that they hadn't even gotten the cards yet... Are there actually some retailers who didn't receive the cards, or was he mistaken?

I'm pretty sad because I live in a pretty weird town and they are even sold out here! I wonder if it's because of the stores or Nintendo trying their supply and demand rubbish again like they did for Wii?

fortunately animal crossing isn't popular where i live so they're always in stock. i don't have the game yet, though, but i hope to get it for christmas.

I live near a major metropolitan area - we have more than enough GameStops, Targets, Best Buys etc. Sold out everywhere. I got packs on the first day. They've pretty much been sold out ever since. There were some packs a week ago at a store nearly two hours away...they're sold out too now.

FYI many people who collect Amiibo are going crazy collecting the Animal Crossing cards. They may be the "scalpers" right now.

our toys r us has like 30 packs left... i got 12 on release and split with my friend.

I called places today after work.... and nothing! Toys r us said to try back friday! but one walmart said they had some available so I drove over there and look for them by the amiibo stuff and! NOTHING.... so i asked a worker who checked it and said that the stock was actually -1 like they just sold one recently..... T_T

Some stores didn't receive any cards. Of the 8 stores I visited on Sept 25, 4 had no cards at all (and the staff at Toys R Us didn't even know there were cards). A lot of chains get their stock shipped from distribution centres and don't always have a say in what stock they get.

I haven't had any problems really I have 5 packs so far (mainly because i'm poor) 3 from gamestop and 2 from walmart

Until today I haven't had any problems (I'm assuming because I live in a small town), but I went in to Gamestop today and they only had one pack left. Unfortunately they don't know when they're getting the next shipment in, only that it's still in processing Judging from the conversations I've had with the employee that always sells me the cards, I'm pretty sure they're sold out due to him and a couple of his friends...and myself probably. I've bought 8 packs so far. Apparently my Gamestop is only stocking 30 at a time so that's definitely not helping either.

Who knew they would be selling out sooo fast!

I was only able to buy 3 because there's a limit. They're crazy expensive too! It came up to like $25 for three packs. Nuts.

Well you guys might wanna get some more packs next time you see them! I talked to my friend who works at walmart and he said that according to his ordering system he can't order anymore in! aka he can no longer order them! So I went to another walmart and bought the last 6 packs and asked them if they could get more and and they said no!

Jacksonville FL is out, I went and called all the wal-marts, Targets and GS's. None and I mean NONE had any. The closest was gainsville. It's insane.

I think the US is going though a shortage like Japan did. I know almost all of my stores around here are sold out and when they get them in stock 3 hours later there sold out! So if anyone is thinking about getting cards/packs later I would instead GET THEM NOW while you can!

Canada too! I live in a big town though so that might be why

Pretty much every store I've been too has had them. I guess being a nerd in the ghetto pays off sometimes.

I couldn't find them at Walmart but the Target next door had tons! Either I got lucky or they aren't as popular here on Maui haha.

Hit 9 stores in the past two days.
I did not see 1 pack of cards.
But good news, cards are easy to mass produce as opposed to a solid amiibo figure, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot card packs start popping up again in a week or 2.

Some of the stores in America aren't even putting them out though. My mom went to best buy to try and find some, one young employee checked the back for her and told her they were completely sold out, but sounded odd so she asked a second employee and he went and pulled out a whole box, saying they have tons but they just aren't keeping them out for people to see.

It really just depends on where you go, but most online shops let you check the stock in store so you can always do that before going! :l
