Now that we’re exactly a week out from Toy Day, I’ve noticed my spawn rate of Festive DIYs from balloons today has been off the charts— like maybe one out of every two balloons! Am I just truly blessed by RNG or did the game up the odds the closer we get to the event?
Are the festive DIY spawn rates way higher today?

They’ve also all been DIYs I needed, no repeats. I don’t think anyone could be this lucky, but who knows, maybe my next twenty balloons are outdoor air conditioners and 1k bell bags

Yeah I had much better luck with the festive DIYs than I did with the autumn DIYs. Very few repeats as well. I only have one left to get. The snowflake ones seem more elusive though, but could just be weird RNG. Or maybe it prioritises the festive ones since it's almost Christmas.

Hmm no its not working for me. All I've been getting from those balloons is bells, clay, clothes, and furniture.

Well I don’t know which ACNH gods I pleased, but I managed to catch every festive DIY I was missing (all nine of them) today, plus two snow DIYs, all new to me, with no duplicates and at a rate of 1 out of 2 for balloons popped being DIYs. I’m not convinced this isn’t intentional in the programming as it’s insanely unlikely otherwise, but either way I’ll take it and it removes a lot of stress for me

2nd Island luck improved last night. The first day Isabelle gave out the Ornament Wreath DIY by phone to all players. First 2 DIY from balloons were the Ornament Wreaths. I don't need 2 more. I was able to get 2 new DIY Festive recipes from Balloons.
Last night I had better luck and have 8 recipes. This morning the first balloon was a new DIY festive recipe.

I found one this morning, but that’s all. It was way easier for me to get the mush and other fall diys. I got all of those, but so far I only have 2 winter diys from balloons.

I got 3 in a row today after getting none yesterday. I love it when rng actually decides to be on my side for once.
I think Jingle gives the giftwrap DIY when you talk to him on the 24th
