I might open up a thread in the trading board to sell any spare items I might get every so often, but that might be about it. I do have lots of time on my hands to possibly open up a shop, but I'm not too sure on how I will keep items stocked...
Nothing special, just going to try and enjoy the game as much as possible! And probably do lots of trading on here lol maybe make new friends to play with
i'll probably do some trading on the stalk market here and there and pay visits to other people's shops. i might do giveaways or host parties but it'll be hard to say until the actual game is in my hands.
i'll definitely blog about my experiences and try to get all the new nook miles. but i don't even have the nintendo online membership (yet?) so a shop would be pretty much useless. let's see though

I was thinking of doing a daily blog thing as well, since they often make me feel motivated to play more and its nice to share my experiences and happenings with others. It just depends on the new forum structure since Blog Tree is being removed. Got to wait on rules on blog-type threads being allowed or not, or if a new section of the forums will be added for them.
Nah, without Nintendo Online I won't be able to offer services anyway. I might try to make a neat signature for myself, but the program I use really isn't good with those minor details and I don't know how to use any other program.
I think this time around I'd like to have a shop eventually, and a kind of adoption center for my villagers once they decide to head out. Selling villagers has over time kinda become a little uncomfortable for me, so I think I'd like to do giveaways instead. But items, though, I definitely will like to trade them. I hope people aren't easily able to exploit the game, I don't want the economy to become skewed because of item and bell duplicates. Player shops would be so fun if people actually had difficult and rare to get items that others couldn't.
I also want to decorate my town for holidays and invite people over to celebrate, or just have parties on Friday/Saturday nights just 'cause.
No. If anything, I'd stay away from the forums for a while. I just want to enjoy the game by itself and not have any interruptions in the meantime. Basically just doing a blind playthrough and then forming my opinions from there.
Probably not. Just going to be enjoying it as much as possible.
Seeing as I'm in Australia I'll have access to the game one day earlier...maybe even a day before the release date as pre-orders can ship out early. (Which would be really nice, if it arrives on time.)
But with that being said, I'm not going to be posting on here spoiling the game for anybody else. I'd much rather keep things to myself. Adds to the experience too.
Probably just sharing screen shots with others! There’s a couple of members on here who always post great stuff on the ACNL screen shot thread... I’m looking forward to their posts lol :’D I’ll open a shop to sell/buy items as usual, but only when I have stock on hand and not pre-orders as I probably wouldn’t be able to keep up.
I might revive the idea of styling contests. I did those for New Leaf all those years ago on another forum. Basically I came up with a theme (e.g. first date, gaming nerd, rockstar...) and people could sign in and create an outfit for that theme within a week or so. Then everyone sent me screenshots of their finished outfits and the contestants would rate each other from 1 to 10 and provide a short explanation on what they liked/didn?t like about every outfit. The one with the most points won the week and I would usually give them bells as a reward. This is inspired by a German TV show named ?Shopping Queen?!
However, people weren?t so interested in the idea back in those days. Maybe, since currency inflation might not be a thing anymore, people are more motivated to participate in contests like this now. We?ll see!
i’ll be focusing on my own island for the first couple of days as i adjust to the switch lite and the new mechanics but after that i’ll get back into trading with people. :3
as for a shop and/or giveaways, that likely won’t happen for at least a couple months/year after the game’s release
Depending on how the start of the game is and how amiibo functionality works in NH, I might have a few days the first week of the game where I allow people to go to the sanrio RVs for free I know a lot of people like the accessories/some items and I'm hoping they include the newer ones from PC as well!
