I’m “pro life” (don’t like that term, think it has a bad stigma((just look at all these triggered posts)) but it has nothing to do with religion it’s just empanthy for the child. I can’t stomach it when I see abortion used as casual birth control like on TV and movies. :/ And I feel so bad for people that abort and regret it afterwards.

I do think it’s acceptable in certain situations though.

lmao ok so you dont like politics because people will disagree with you when you say that people should just do something that isn't realistic at all? ok
like you're completely missing my point if you think we can just "improve the process" and things will be fine because with your idea things will never be close to even be acceptable

The process for reporting rape is already bad enough. I don't think a rape victim should have to report it just to get health care. If she chooses to carry the pregnancy anyway, more power to her. But if she wants an abortion she should get it no questions asked as early as possible.

I don't think that is that common actually. I mean maybe for some people, but abortion is costly and can be quite hard to get in certain areas. A lot of cities don't have clinics that provide them, some states only have one clinic. Some have regulations that require counseling first and multiple visits before the procedure can be done. And honestly, I haven't seen it in media really? Like I'm not sure what shows you're watching, but I've never seen one that had a woman getting abortions all the time and it celebrated it, (Although to be honest I don't watch a ton of tv). From the last I saw from the CDC, the majority of women who had an abortion were in their late 20- early 30's and already had one or two children. It's not mostly teenagers using it as birth control. However, that was a couple years ago, I'm not sure what the numbers are now.
I also wanted to point out there is a large number of parents who regret having children, and that's heart breaking too.

i'm 100% pro-choice, and i'm happy to live in a country where all the major political parties are too

Pro-Choice, bodily autonomy is one of the concepts I value the most, and I think the idea that a person (of any gender) who has a uterus should force themselves to go through a pregnancy that was accidental is anti-bodily autonomy.

I've been on the fence about this for years, but I guess I'd say I'm pro-life. Abortion has never really sat right with me for several reasons, excluding certain circumstances (the mother's life is at risk, there is something wrong with the baby, rape, so on). However, with that said I don't think that women should be punished for having an abortion like they are in some parts of the world.

Pro-choice but I would, personally, never get an abortion for myself unless I was raped or something. This is only because I've done research on it, and I guess (normal) people who get abortions tend to go through mourning and grief. Honestly, I don't need that in my life.

choice!! what she decides to do is really nobody elses business...like take into consideration her situation or how it happened and whatnot. If I don't know what she went through, I shouldn't tell her what to do or what not to do.

choice, because honestly it's nobody's business what you do and there are tons of kids in orphanages that would do anything for a home. also overpopulation

Pro-Choice.

I am a huge advocate in autonomy and preserving dignity. I believe people should have the choice to make their own decisions regarding this topic. It's their body and their actions and decisions that lead them to where they are. Therefore, it's also their choice to decide what their next step will be.

We have no right to tell people what to do with their body or their life...

I think it's a difficult topic. One side is arguing sovereignty over one's own body, and the other side is arguing the life of a baby. As a man, I will never have to go through the incredibly difficult choice. For this reason I abstain from the idea that I have a right to tell women what they can do with their bodies. Personally, I don't believe I would ever choose an abortion, but I do not impose my views on others.

Abortion is, in short, murder. Yes, it is a choice, but it is murder. Murder is illegal, so why isn't abortion illegal? Abortion is a fancy term for murdering babies.

i'm pro-choice. it's really invasive to force someone to justify why they decide that they can't have a baby, can't raise it, etc.

i don't like the term "pro-life." the only "life" that they are guaranteed to actually care about is one that hasn't even started. i mean, when you tell people your birthday, you use the day when you were born, not the day when you were conceived, right? that's just common sense. no one holds annual parties for the day their cells started to form in their mom's body. it's more like "pro-birth." actually, i guess the most accurate terms would be "pro-abortion" and "anti-abortion" but those are kind of a mouthful i guess

honestly, i don't get why abortion is seen as immoral. i guess people have the idea that it's cold-blooded murder. but outlawing of abortion would lead to babies with deadly diseases, stillborn babies, babies growing up without families, babies growing up poor and/or starving...letting that happen just for the sake of your own conscience doesn't seem very humane to me.

I sincerely hope you are trolling and is just not educated about sex, countries and their law on it. It's not "murdering" like you put it, smfh kid.

Pro-choice because I’m a decent human being

Yeah, one good reason like that is enough.

But yeah I assume all you guys who is pro-life and rage about the "murder" things are presumable privileged, christian, rich, right-wing people or just wanna fit into the world(males as well? i don't like assuming genders in any way but honestly...). Do you want to murder the woman as well or give her complications for the rest of her of her life, or just punish her for having too easy time getting pregnant, just because you can do as you wish and is on faulty grounds?

Fetuses ain't even babies further into pregnancy and considering how easy it is to even get impregnated regardless if it's mutual sex or rape, some countries doesn't even have good if any birth control(or just forbids it because catholic laws). Just let a woman bleed to no end when they give birth because the law forbids any and all abortions and they'll imprison you for miscarriages in certain countries. Honestly most people would rather die than live with that shame, no?

It's the woman's decision always, and unless she wanna keep it you should respect an abortion. Like 99% of the times people aren't prepared to take care of the child and even worse with this dumb app that people trusts to have "safe sex" with rather than taking secure bc options.
