Honestly, Animal Crossing is a really relaxing game I use for escapism, so I really don't want to see politics here - at all. Of course, I can just ignore the threads, but it gets pretty tiring to see several forums about the same topic with different variations.

Elections politics are getting kind of boring. I'd totally be open to discussing other kinds of politics but mainstream politics are the only thing that most people know about.

I think it's a big issue right now so I understand why people want to talk, but yeah I agree with others that there should just be a general thread for it, honestly.

I don't mind them. It's nice to discuss this stuff sometimes, only find it an issue when you get people who shoot you down because you don't agree with their views. Other than that I think they're fine
