Arguments online.

I'm not a racist; you're just the kind of person that turns everything into a matter of racism. You disagree with something, you cry racist because it shuts people up, it shuts threads down and that's easier than having to THINK and form a real response. You're a typical sjw, you're intellectually lazy and act like you're still in middle school, not that you're far from it.

Go crawl into your little safe space so you don't have to think or read anything that conflicts with your (stupid) viewpoint.

Yes, but most of them I had no choice but I usually try and stay out of them or avoid arguments from arising. I mainly tell people to stop being so rude as personally, I don't like being spoken to in a rude manner which I'm sure is true for most people. And unfortunately there's quite a lot of rude people on club tortimer. :/

I enjoy reading them, but I don't get involved because people online are very difficult to reason with and I don't have the patience :p

Nope, waste of time and energy in my opinion...

Yep. I think it's important to stand up for what you believe in. It's easy for people to be passive-aggressive on the Internet, though, so most of the time they just talk about you behind your back.

Yes. :(
But I was more na?ve when I did. I try to just step away, unless someone gets really personal with me.

Yess so many times

Normally it's just me getting shouted at by older members .-.

The three biggest ones I can think of are.....the time I made a (bad) joke about a dead cat and people who eat meat told me I was a psychopath....aaand when me and visibleghost spent 30 pages calling each other weeaboos... Oh, said I wanted my sexuality to be different, and everyone got pissed at me xD

It was really funny 11/10

and huh yeah I often get in arguments but people just get too tired or annoyed bc they say my reasoning is out of focus so :)) I wonder why

Pretty much this.

I'll sometimes take an unpopular stance on a topic (that in reality I don't even care about) just to see how people react to it and how well I can defend it.

relatable

I don't get involved, but I love reading them to see how ignorant people are ;D
youtube comments are a nest for arguments

Yes. I've been on forums for the last 15 years... it would be far more surprising if I hadn't. I don't enjoy them, though. I hate arguing, online and off. I try to avoid them the best I can.

i try not to get involved because it makes my anxiety / bpd really bad.
someone was just rude to me on a thread and i feel like throwing up / i'm about to cry looool

nah . i hate getting into arguments so i just let it go and don't respond because i never mean to start one in the first place , just share my opinion . i see a lot in youtube comments , though , so i usually scroll through those just to see what people are saying about a topic

I try to stay out of it unless it's so morally wrong and I know I'm right, like I can link them to news articles or a website with correct info, or I can sound really convincing.

I've probably been in a hundred.

The really sad thing is that the internet is a great way to get information around the globe but everyone always seems to be more interested in protecting their egos and being stubborn than genuinely admitting to learning something they didn't know before.
