well if you bury 1k WITH A GOLDEN SHOVEL you get 3k from the tree

im not to sure about how long it takes, i think like a regular tree

yes it is true. You must bury the bells with a golden shovel however.
The highest amount of bells you may recieve from a bell tree is 90k.
In order to get a golden shovel, you must first bury a normal shovel and then dig it up excactly one day later.

to get 90k from a bell tree you have a bury 30k worth of bells with a golden shovel and hope you get a tree that sprouts 90k... good luck

Yeah, and if you bury 30k, its a 30% chance of growing into 90k, 40k is 40% chance of making 90k,60k is 60%.

airhead, You have to get a golden shovel, by planting a shovel in the ground, it will vary from game to game how it "grows". Then you can plant bells and eventually, it will grow into a bell tree! I have one 1,000 tree in my ACGC game, none in my ACWW town and None in my ACCF town. And, I know this is a change of subject, but... I play ACGC on the Wii because I don't hav a GC!
