I don't like soda much but I prefer bottles. I chose tap for the poll because I thought the poll was about water. I just ordered a filter that attaches to the kitchen faucet to improve the quality of my tap water.

I always buy cans to keep at home. They are the perfect size for me to drink with a meal. I also think soda tastes a little bit better out of a can than a plastic bottle. If I must buy a bottle, like out of a vending machine, then I will but most of the single serving bottles are too big and start to go flat before I finish them. I also never buy the big 2 liter bottles for the same reason. As soon as you open them, they go flat so they're only good for one use.

I will drink soda from a tap at restaurants, but the taste varies depending on the place and sometimes even the day. I've had really good tap sodas and really terrible ones. So it's not my favorite because you never know what you're going to get.

Bottles. I like to make my soda last for a while and I don’t feel comfortable leaving a can out for too long. At least with bottles you can close it with a lid. Even with tap I like to let it sit.

i don’t really have a preference, but since i don’t always finish my drinks, i tend to drink out of bottles most often since if i don’t finish them, i can just put them back in the fridge for later.

This is literally exactly how I feel. I couldn’t have put it into better words. I simply can’t drink from two liters because it’ll go flat, just like the smaller bottles.

Glass bottles honestly. Other than that, tap. I feel like the plastic bottles and cans are pretty even.

I prefer bottles, as I can close and open them whenver I want. There is a few drinks like Pepsi Max where I prefer the taste when it's in a can. Cola Cherry is a no go for cans. It tastes so bad. :( However, when it comes to Fanta I always prefer tap, I like when it's mixed with water (McDonalds / BurgerKing), I guess.. :sneaky:

I prefer glass bottles the most with plastic bottles in second because I can close them. Tap is always iffy for me.

I don’t really drink soda, but when I do it’s from a bottle because I buy bottled soda as a mixer for finer beverages :lemon:

It REALLY depends on what I'm drinking, because for Coca-Cola I firmly believe it's best when it is extremely cold and in a can, Fanta orange is best on tap, and Dr.Pepper is best when poured into a glass from a bottle. Glass bottled soda is top tier but is sadly not too common where I live (besides Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, which I'm not even a fan of coke so I don't get that much), so with that I say cans are the best option since that's usually a fine baseline for your soda, it SHOULD always taste decent when in a cold can.

I don’t drink soda as often as I use to, but usually when I do it’s in a can. I only drink plastic bottles when I have to, I hate how fast they get flat. Same for tap, only when it’s absolutely necessary would I choose tap over cans. Glass bottles would be my top preference though (especially Mexican coke) but it’s on the more expensive side so it definitely wouldn’t be my everyday go to.

When I used to visit a family friend’s cottage during the summer, glass bottles were hazards on the dock and out on the boat. Never considered buying them because they’ve never been practical, but they do look lovely.

I‘ll always choose a can over anything else. Easier to bulk buy, hold, and stack (big space saver).

Cans more often than not. I’ve had soda for so long that I can tell the difference in taste between cans and tap, and tap can definitely taste bad at some places.

I completely agree with this. I am a Dr. Pepper connoisseur and places like McDonalds it tastes watered down as heck. Most places from the tap it usually always tastes worse than if I poured one from a can. It's usually so bad I would rather just get some water than have my favorite drink tainted. Soda from the tap machines usually bother my stomach too so I prefer to not get them when I can. I also noticed the bottled pops still don't taste quite up to par with the cans.

I don't have a preference for can or bottle (glass or plastic). They're both fine to me. I don't care for tap as much, mainly because it sometimes feels like a ~25% chance the drink is going to be watered down tasting because they need to put more syrup in the machine. This is mostly just an issue at fast food places though. I've noticed sit-down restaurants tend to have a MUCH better track record with their taps.

I don't really drink sodas much, but having one from a chilled glass bottle is the superior method

plastic bottles are alright. kinda the basic neutral choice, but whatever. props though, on it being the easiest to save for later while not losing that fizz

I'm not a fan of the slightly metaly taste cans give, nor the whole tab hole design they have. both for being uncomfortable to drink from, and simply leaving way more basically-impossible-to-get-out remaining drink than any other method

tap of course is a wild card. sometimes it's great, easily close to par with glass bottles. other times, it's irredeemably disgusting

Tap is absolutely gross sometimes, especially in places like gas stations and fast food places. It just tastes either watered down or flat, or both.

Cans taste the best to me. Bottles are great too. Fountains usually taste watered down so I never use ice.

I personally do not have a preference as I personally try to avoid sodas. However, when I do drank sodas, I prefer it coming from a bottle.

1. Glass bottles
2. Cans
3. Tap
Plastic bottles: Almost never

I prefer glass bottles and cans. Drinks served cold taste better in glass for some reason. I try to cut plastic out of my life so I try to avoid plastic bottles unless its served to me by a restaurant.
