i like doggos because im hella depressed and they always wanna see you!! theyre like "hey human, why are you sad, here let me kiss your tears!!" plus their wet noses are the best and so cute, and taking doggos on walks is great<3
I love dogs very much, but I couldn't survive without a cat. They do act superior sometimes, but all the cats that I've ever had really love me as much as I love them.
I've got a ***** cat, although I don't see it much as it spends most of its time with the woman down the road I don't know why I bother she might as it well keep it
How bad are your allergies? When I go over to my friend's house, that has 3 in and out cats in it, I constantly feel sniffy and my eyes are always watery, though I think that time has made my allergies not as bad to cats.
Definitely cats! Anyone who says cats aren't affection have never owned one, my cat never leaves my side, he's so friendly and loving and sleeps with me every night, haha. I've also owned dogs all of my life, our current dog can't seem to leave my cat alone, no matter what we do :l I still love our dog, but he's a little infuriating..
I'm fairly neutral on the matter of cats vs. dogs. I've never owned nor I will I ever own such a big pet, but if I hypothetically were to do so, they both have their positive and negative aspects that make them sort of balance out for me.
I like the affection dogs can show to people, some breeds can serve as a means of protection, and they give you a good excuse to get some more exercise. However, I don't want to be picking up their poop to dispose of it, but I also do not want to be that inconsiderate person who just leaves their dog's poop on the sidewalk or in someone's lawn.
Cats, depending on their individual temperament, seem nice enough and you can train them to use a litter box, but I'm not at all interested in them getting into wires and scratching me with their claws. I also know that some cats like to wander around outside and if I had one as a pet, that uncertainty of what they're getting themselves into isn't something I'd be comfortable with. Oh, and then there's the whole Toxoplasma gondii brain parasite they carry that can infect you.
Not really interested in owning any pets because of all the costs involved. That said, I'll be cool with other people's pet cats or dogs if I'm visiting so long as the animal in question isn't a jerk.
As far as the poll goes, it's Both and Neither for me. I guess Neither would be the most appropriate since you can only click on one option and I don't intend to own either type of animal myself.

I've always had a cat, and I had a dog for 16 years (and he's still living). I like them for different reasons. Cats are less demanding, which is nice when you want some company but not be constantly entertaining. Dogs are nice because of their outward affection they can give.
Two years ago me and my husband got our cat together. I love him. Then one week ago, we picked up our puppy. So that's super exciting, especially to have a walking buddy.
cats <3 dogs can give me migraines from their yappy barks and i find that cats are a lot more chill and laid back, and they show so much affection to me
