Here is my advent! Celebrating my favourite villages (past and present), as well as my favourite special characters as we count down to Toy Day!
Hi @Sloom Lagoon! We are not able to accept this entry because you have used in-game assets from Animal Crossing and stock art from another website. You are welcome to re-enter the event with a different submission.

Without further ado, I present my Animal Crossing advent calendar!

I was inspired by the advent calendar my late grandmother made for my mom and her siblings, and decided to go the sewing route on this one. Shout out to my sister, who taught me how to crochet and use the sewing machine just for this project. The calendar itself is made from flannel with a small set of lights sewn in. The stick is a dowel I made little clay balls for the ends of, and the string it's hung up by is crocheted yarn. The villager heads are made from felt, tiny pompoms, and a singular button, painted with acrylic paint. (Stitches' "eyes" are embroidered.) The felt heads are coarse and stick to the flannel, so they can be placed and removed as desired.

And here's a close-up of their happy little faces!
(please excuse any stray kitty hairs, they were all over this thing)

The villagers in their pockets. There's 25 heads, but that's just because Timmy and Tommy share a pocket of course!

My calendar in the works, before being sewn together.
I have an advent (styled) like this!!! My aunt made it for me back in 2003! I luv it! Great job!!!!

It's Birblob's first Christmas! Wish him happy holidays, and he will send tiny, invisible birbs your way to guard your health and happiness :D

The ornaments are the doors. There are bags under the tree because birbs can't wrap presents!

OMG YOU GUYS ARE KILLING IT!! There's SO MANY BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS IN THIS THREAD. The physical ones are especially impressive, it's so cool that you took the time to make them :)

Hi! Thought to ask, does the design have to strictly be doors? I was thinking of making something like stickers (peel to reveal!) kind of advent calendar. They'd still have the numbers to count down! :]
