I don't eat them. There's something about the taste and texture that throws me off every time. I thought I'd like them mixed in with other foods but that's not the case.
Damn, what a silly & cute random topic. lol You do a good job, matt.
I don't eat peanuts solely by itself. I eat it only when it's served as snack that's mixed with other ingredients and as a light dish with alcohol. Such as, steamed spinach with grinded peanuts & cream sauce, or simply mixed with dried small fishes, etc. And so far it happened only during the date, so I'd say it should be the last one option?
By the way, it should be "boyfriend/girlfriend" not "boyfriend".

Thanks for this thread topic, it's interesting to witness the unique and variety of ways that other human beings eat small foods like peanuts or their reason for dislike of them or that allergy
if theyre salted/natural/spiced i shovel them in until i cant fit more in my mouth (i eat popcorn this way too and everyone complains about it but its my nature i cant change it!!) LOL but if theyre the crispy kind i love eating them one by one
I usually eat my peanuts in a paste spread on toast. For the occasion that I eat whole peanuts, I usually eat them two by two. It gives more of a taste than having one peanut each, and it also makes it last a lot longer than shoveling.
I usually eat a few at a time. I love cooking with them but if I eat a bunch at once I feel like I'm just drooling and partially choking trying to get them down. You can imagine it's probably not a pretty sight.
I don't like nuts really. There is one exception with boiled peanuts, in which case if anyone has ever had them then you know you need to eat them one at a time. You have to carefully peel away the shell so you don't damage the nut inside.
I can't take my response seriously after seeing that last response.
