here’s my care package for Filbert!

I tried to pick items that fit his color scheme (blue) and his personality (lazy) and also threw in a few other things to help him feel better! Since he’s lazy, I figured he’d want to sleep as much and as comfortable as possible, so I’ve given him a lava lamp night light, a relax time mist, a lavender-scented bedtime baby lotion, a lavender scented oil plug-in, a small blue penguin plush with a matching blue penguin eye mask, and some comfy blue cloudy pj’s. I’ve also given him some things to snack on: nut bars (since he’s a squirrel), chips, a few packs of hot cocoa, and milk candies with motivational messages on the wrappers, placed in a blue space cup since his interior is space-themed. To help his health I’ve included honey, tea, and Vitamin C drink powder.

Being the overpacker I am, I stuffed Apple's sleepover package with anything and everything I think she could possibly need on her night out. I sadly had little in the way of PJs to offer her, but I called ahead and her neighbour & friend who will also be attending, Fauna, was more than happy to bring over an extra pair and blanket to share.

Here's what I prepped for the peppy and playful Apple:

• The Game of Life & Hangman for her to play with friends (I felt like these types of boardgames would be exactly her vibe).
• Strawberry banana granola bars & apple cinnamon cheerios (fruity foods to tickle tastebuds).
• In the bottom right hand corner (difficult to make out) party glasses! This way Apple and her friends can pretend to be famous pop stars out at a party.
• The Lizzie McGuire Movie & Hairspray. These movies spoke to Apple deeply growing up (+ they're sing alongs!), so I thought I'd surprise her with a hit of nostalgia and remind her what instilled those pop star dreams.
• Dance Dance Revolution for fun times with the crew! Apple knows that to be a pop star, you've gotta have the moves, and DDR is her favourite way of practicing!
• My personal guitar. I wish I had a mic to offer her inevitable, spontaneous, break-outs-into-songs, but am hopeful that she'll be able to play and sing some cozy tunes around the campfire with this.
• Lozenges & tea! To soothe her throat (and anyone who joined in!) after a fun night full of singing and shouting.

edit: I realize I was slightly mistaken and skipped over the "caught a cold" part and focused on the "too busy to pack for a sleepover" implications of this event's description. I hope this is still ok

1. a reformation pink velvet slip for our beloved sustainability minded aspiring actress/pop princess.. wish it was red but i feel like she's a girlie who can appreciate pink too (this is actually a camisole but she's so squat.. it would be a lovely length on her ..while still being a modest fingertip length)
2. kombucha (lil new leaf throwback, if u know u know) because self care begins and ends with gut health🗣🗣
   
3. if she ends up partaking in karaoke the hamster will almost certainly perspire. with this mild rosewater mist from glossier's first launch, she can simultaneously refresh her rosy complexion and signal her longstanding loyalty to into the gloss. also included a face mask because she's loves to pamper <3
4. michael buble and josh groban CDs for if she starts to yearn in the still of the nite! i know my girl and she definitely yearns ~
5. an apple cider scented candle to remind her of home.. also she's into ceromancy xD
6. she's an avid reader so i have packed SCUM manifesto as well as a manga memoir of the iconic&inspirational artist rokudenashiko for her to peruse at leisure ★~(◠︿⊙✿)
7. her all time favourite comfort food meal because she will prob be hungry again when everyone else has fallen aslep: beef stroganoff w egg noodles Yum-Yum
8. garlic powder x2 (she can't get enough of the stuff... hence, in case she finishes the remains of this costco-value-size value garlic powder, i have packed her an extra lil mason jar full)
9. suffering from night-time heartburn, even once a week, can cause fatigue, decrease productivity at work, and overall impact to your daily life. this type of heartburn also has been linked to increased snoring. we can't have that! so i packed her tums

This little care package is for Julian. The blue and purple decorations on this simple wooden box alludes to his favorite colors. Same goes for the aesthetic of the contents! Julian is a beautiful villager and although he forgets to pack, I hope I got him sorted with a few of the things he'd definitely appreciate!

Small blue towel - To wipe his tears from reading the book. Possibly to make a moist towel to put on his head if he gets too sick and uncomfortable.
The blue book (This Is How It Always Is) - A trans fiction book of coming out and family. With the cover adorned with the night sky and stars.
Black/Gold Journal - While at the slumber party, he could dish out his inner creativity. In New Leaf, you'd come to learn that his goal was to be a designer! I'm sure he'd love to draw in it.
Pen Assortment - Different colored pens to use to draw and design!
Dark Blue Starry Sky Envelope - Tea packets that would sit snug inside to soothe a cold!
Light Blue Face Wipes - I don't think he'd like to sleep in, albeit gorgeous, eyeshadow. So let's nicely wipe them off!
Face & Hand Lotion - I'd want him to moisturize in this summer heat. Also it's great for your skin!
Baby Powder - A little joke because he's an adorable starry sky baby. Would also keep him from getting rashes.
Blue/Gold Hair Scrunchy & Clip - Easily tie or clip his mane back while all use face masks at the party. His locks are long and beautiful, I know.
Cosmic Holographic Peel-Off Mask - This "luminizing rose quartz" face mask to freshen up and give ourselves a stress free and wonderful time!
Poptarts - Birthday cake flavored poptarts because its quick and convenient! Something small and the packaging is so holo.

Whats included in the box:
-Makeup items (eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, makeup brushes): Since Whitney aspires to be a makeup artist, I thought that by including some makeup items would cheer her up! Whitney wears a bit of light eyeshadow in game and I think that she would make good use of these products.
-A set of bath bombs: Whitney likes to pamper herself and I think that a nice warm bath does wonders when you're feeling sick! These smell great and are great for relaxing.
-Miscellaneous self care items (hair shampoo, eye cream, lavender soap, lip balm): I chose these items because they had light blue packaging which matched Whitney's color and I think that she would enjoy using them! Whenever I think of Whitney, I think of sophisticated and well put together, so I think that these items would help keep her looking her best!
-Coffee sticks: Finally, I stuffed in some coffee because she likes sitting down at my outdoor cafe on my island and I thought she would like a nice warm cup of coffee when she's sick

Here is my self-care package for Papi !

It includes:
- A cute little basket I had + a brown bow I tied to the handle to make it all fancy~

- A horse plush and horse figurine ! Papi is a lazy type and has a bit of a childish home so he would probably enjoy some toys ! A plush toy is also just nice to have when you lounge around being sick all day
(wish I had an okapi plush but alas those aren’t as easy to come by haha)

- Some sketchbooks + pens ! Papi’s goal is to be a cartoonist ! So I thought he’d enjoy some materials to work on that, plus its a pretty calm activity to entertain him while he stays sick at home

- Some medicine ! Just like in the game the medicine can really help them feel better when they’re feeling down

- Some sweets ! He is a lazy villager so food is always on his mind, and who doesn’t enjoy a gift basket with a little bit of chocolate right ?
(Let’s not think about how most animals can’t have chocolate- we’ve all seen them munch on chocolate ice cream bars in game right? he’ll be fine )

- A big plush blanket ! To bundle up while he lays around and probably takes a nap, who doesn’t need a blanket to live in when you’re sick ?

- A get well soon card ! Just to be a little more personalized, so he knows who’s here and cares about him ;w; (also doubles as a name card lol)

Bonus random stuff:
- Some hay like stuff I used as the filling for the basket, haha get it, hay? horse ? // that and the fact that his catchphrase is also “haaay” so how could I not !

- There’s a few feathers in there, just to be a bit of decoration based on the detail that he has the nature hobby !

- I tried to go for an overall natural brown + white colour scheme ! Mainly based on the two main colours of his design being brown and white, and his house also has and overall pretty dominant white + brown scheme !

• Medical Books- For his entertainment. Maybe he wants to read about his condition, or touch up on anatomical structures of animals?

  • Comparative Anatomy of the Vertebrates - Kent & Carr's book on comparative anatomy is a classic. Touches up on a lot of animals and their anatomy. A must-read for Raddle if he wants to become a doctor of animals.
  • Diagnostic Microbiology - I didn't have a book on virology, so here's the closest book I have on the microbial level.
  • ER Manual for ENT - Considering his runny nose, he might want to read more on emergency cases of the nose. Also includes ear and throat topics.
• Medicine- both for boosting the immune system & relief from his nasal congestion.

  • Oxymetazoline (Nasal Spray) - Good for nasal decongestion.
  • Fluticasone propionate (Nasal Spray) - Just in case he has allergic rhinitis. He's been sneezing since the 2000s I doubt it's just a coincidental series of viral infections.
  • Acetaminophen - Pain relief; he might get a headache from the stuffy nose.

- 2 books, since she always talks about books, as well as gardening, So I put a gardening book in there as well
- a new magnifying glass for closely inspecting that one weed for 2 hours
- (pig) tissue box, since she seems to get sick the most in my town
- loofah, lip balm and shower gel to keep clean (also the shower gel is vanilla, probably the most normal (personality) smell I could find)
- a massage roller to help her relax after her many yoga sessions in front of her house
- a travel-sized board game to keep her busy
- a balloon just for some fun (and colour-matching haha)

My entry is a care package for my sweet tabby. Sure she’s going to be a famous pop star, probably very soon(!) But even budding superstars need a night to take off and relax. I included a second pic to show everything fitting in my little bucket,

My inspiration for the package is partly Tabby’s house. She’s got the manga wall and a stack of comics, so obviously she’s got to have a cozy manga night!

here’s what’s inside:


1. some throat friendly comfort treats - miso soup and good earth ‘sweet and spicy‘ tea
2. Three first volumes in manga series - Nana, LoveCom, and KareKano. (Yes I also threw in the first volume of Twilight in Japanese, because what the heck)
3. Cozy black sweatshirt dress. It is so her! Fits her style and color preference and it is really soft.
4. Black and white cozy socks
5. Inuyasha plush doll. I felt like it’s kind of quirky look is just so right for Tabby. And he kind of fits the manga theme I’ve got going.
6. Threw in the little skeleton rabbit things, which are Love Com mascots but also just really fit Tabby’s aesthetic and attitude to me.
7. Last, you never know when inspiration will strike, even on a night off, so got to have a little notebook and pencil in case she thinks of some good lyrics.

Made a care package for Sterling

Toilet paper and a half empty bottle of Hand Gel cause they are a rarity atm so I want him to stay safe but also I wanted to keep clean too.

Strength supplement and Eggs for the morning. One strength pill and a cup of raw egg and he'll be raring to go as jock villager.

Skipping rope to raise his cardiovascular health but also vaporub incase he gets out of breath and develops a cough.

I added a book too cause he always seems to have paper stacks in his house so thought he might need some more.

Unfortunately, I am at college and don't have access to everything I'd like to give my little sweetheart (Marshal, obviously). However, this is what I was able to scrounge up:

Natural Melatonin Gummies: I know for a fact It can be hard to fall asleep when you're sick. Melatonin would hopefully aid with the rest that's so important for recovery.

Tylenol: I get the worst headaches when I have a cold because of all that congestion in my sinuses. This stuff is extra-strength and should help relieve any pain associated with the illness.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Trail Mix: I thought something sweet but not overly so would be a nice treat, plus it's full of nuts which squirrels love!

Bottle of Water: Hydration is so important when you're sick. Even if you don't feel like eating, you should always get some fluids in you whenever possible.

Box of Tissues: Pretty self-explanatory but I gave him one with blue on it because he likes blue.

Get Well Card: I made Marshal a card with a little blue coffee cup on it because he likes blue and his house is a cafe. The front says "Get Well Soon, Marshal!" and the inside says "Heard you weren't feeling well, so here are a few things I thought would make you feel better."

- a golden sheet face mask: based on tiffany's catchphrase, "what's cheap is most costly," it's clear that our favorite bunny doesn't skimp on the good stuff. only the most luxurious self care for her!
- a set of pink with holo accent press-on nails: she may have paws, but tiffany definitely wears long ass nails and you know it.
- black nail polish: to reflect one of tiffany's favorite color, black, this is the perfect color for a little at home pedi.
- a dark liquid lip: because have you seen tiffany's amazing make up game? she would definitely appreciate a new addition to her collection.
- kit kat chocolate: something sweet to top off the night, plus it's tiffany's other favorite color - red!

Self care package for my BFF Merry ~ෆ

Merry’s dream is to one day become the biggest pop star in the world! She wouldn’t let a little cold stop her, so I have packed her a nice stylish robe & some facial masks so she can get her skin looking nice while still being cute and warm. Along with some fuzzy socks for maximum coziness. She likes cute things & being a diva so I packed her a few make up items so she can always look the part. Never know who might be watching! I put a brush in there so she can brush her cute lil bangs and keep them in place at all times. I find her reading in her house a lot and she has told me shes into romance novels on multiple occasions, so I packed her one of my favorite romance author’s book. Hope she’s as much a hopeless romantic as I am. I also packed an iPod in there so she can sing and dance her heart out to her favorite tunes! They say music is good for the soul so maybe she can dance the sickness out! Lastly scented candles, cause who doesn’t love a good smelling candle to help keep the stress of stardom away?

For my self care package, I chose Diana, the snooty deer. Diana has elegant taste, a pale pastel coloring in her house and on herself, and she has a spa and seashell bed in her home. I thought she would enjoy a spa self-care package with an ocean theme, since it's fitting for how she chooses to decorate her home as well as her island location. It's also something I imagine a snooty character being all about - taking a long bath with candles and luxuriating in it. I have included for her:

- Scented bath bombs
- Rose petals for her bath to make her feel glamorous and pampered
- An ocean-themed scented candle for relaxing lighting
- A loofah for exfoliating
- Scented hand cream
- Shampoo and Conditioner
- A little diary with a fleur de lis symbol on it so she can journal
- A jar of pretty seashells, rocks, and beach glass (she can use it to decorate, just enjoy looking at them, or hey, even craft something!)
- Some hand towels (underneath all of that)

An arctic care package

My villager care package is for Aurora, my happy book-obsessed penguin. Because we live on the island of Narnia I included the complete Chronicles of Narnia book series, which I can only assume she will finish in under an hour! There's also medicine because that's the quickest way to get a villager to feel better, and the sea bass she keeps asking for (I can only assume this is because shopping while sick really sucks).

I put this all in an insulated cool bag because it seemed fitting and because Aurora deserved the coolest bag I had!

Also including:

- A blanket for reading under (at the bottom of the bag, you can't really see it well, oops)
- A flashlight for reading under the blanket
- A nice round pebble, because I saw Roald give her one the other day too and it made her really happy, it's a penguin thing
- Bottle of iced tea because of course you don't give a penguin hot tea. This was the next best thing
- Something to help her sleep
- Some soft candy to help with that sore throat

And of course I added a hand-drawn 'Get Well Soon' card. ^^

This gift bag is for Greta, the snooty mouse.

From our interactions on Treehut, Greta seems like the kind of villager who values practical, yet elegant items. Though she may have an oven with open fire in her home, her wardrobe does not seem to be well prepared for the upcoming chilly weather soon to hit our island, which is why I've given her a stylish checked wool scarf, and a pair of black leather gloves. As she enjoys learning about the world and reading (as her hobby is education), I've included a notebook where she can journal and record her own thoughts and observations. The B.B. cream, blush, and eyeshadow will add to her makeup collection, alongside the blush and red lipstick she already wears. Finally, the Innisfree face masks will be handy for a nice, relaxing nap on her futon.

Here we go, a basket made for Miss Cookie!

From top to bottom let me explain what she's getting. Firstly she is getting a beautiful pink petal gradient wreath because sometimes you need to freshen up your door and change looks, options are so important now adays. Next up is an oversizrd pink and white gradient knit sweater, as a peppy superstar you need trendy clothes but more so, she needs trendy comfortable, so get comfy in a big sweater! Next is some shea butter lotion and cuticle cream, take care your body y'all, your hands, or paws, do so much for you, moisturize to keep them in good shape and that includes your nails! Next is a bento box and 2 assorted cloth ties for it, she should take herself on a date and picnic outside with a nice bento meal and a stylish way to carry it. Under all of that is a mermaid blanket, when you pull it over your legs you get a mermaid tail, fun and comfort, relaxation to the max. Then we have a bunny and bear rice molds, these go with the bento box, sometimes you need to just be extra to feel good, nothing wrong with that! To the sides there are large fluffy pillows, some nice kick back and cuddle type of pillows. As well as on those pillows and in the basket at sweets, sweets always make me feel nice personally, some cookies for cookie as well as sweet gummy treats! The metal rose is for aesthetic, nice surroundingscan make your feel nice. Last but not least is a large felted spiral book with beautiful flower themed pages, as a pop star I feel as though it would be the perfect book for her to sit back and write songs on while relaxing with everything else in today's basket.
