Dark mode vs Light mode

im definitely more of a fan of dark mode. the only thing light mode is my switch, because im never on the home screen often. every time i go from a site that only has light mode to a dark mode site, my eyes are just like way less strained. dark mode on discord, twitter, twitch, reddit, literally every site that i have an account on lol.

honestly i wish that this site had a dark mode (if it does i havent found it in settings yet or anything) not just for the eye strain thing, but just bc i think it could be so cute!! they could put a lil owl on the home page like the owl in game on the message board, and instead of the clouds + trees it could be stars n stuff. and lightning bugs in the summer. now that im thinking about it though, dark mode might make some user's signatures look a little funky, idk

I had a concussion/tbi a few years back and brightness is still something I struggle with.

the white text in dark mode hurts my eyes so light mode. i think things look better in light mode too

Light mode definitely at times makes me feel happy and a lighter, nicer human being, but other times just causes pain and gives me a headache for how dang bright it is.

Definitely for some things dark mode is a blessing.
Discord is dark mode, it's TOO bright honestly, but my Switch I go back and forth between dark and light, usually dark mode, and my phone is always light now

Dark mode. when I turn on my phone at night and log into my social media apps with light mode on, I have to squint my eyes because the brightness is too much for my eyes to handle! XD

I’ve always enjoyed dark mode not only because it’s less aggressive when I’m scrolling through Twitter at 4am but it just seems ‘cleaner’ if that makes any sense lol

I use light mode on my phone. On forums, I tend to prefer the dark mode. I really liked dark mode on this site in particular, but it no longer exists.

I always use dark mode. Light mode hurts my eyes at this point. It honestly took a little getting used to at first, but now I can't imagine not using it.

Dark mode everywhere whenever possible. My interior car lights are all dimmed super low too.
